This quaint and beautiful German restaurant is tucked away in a historical old building located right across the street from KMC Medical Center, who would have thought!!! Being in a bit of the bad part of town, this place has got it going on! I never even knew it existed until recently! My teenage daughter went to eat here today at lunch and brought me back some of the food and she said I needed to make a review of this restaurant, because it is just awesome! Bakersfield does not have a lot to offer in the German food area, so this was a treat! The food was delicious, especially the red cabbage smothered in sour kraut juices! Sounds bad but tastes divine! What a great place of a wonderful culture. She said it was so cute inside and so dainty and quaint. The outside of the building is too! Really great service and prices. Sorry, don't know their hours of operation!
