The Best! 4/19/2010

I started taking my Corgi puppy to Biscuits when she was old enough to go there. She got lots of love, personal attention, and lots of play time. The keep dogs in groups of puppies, small dogs and big dogs. They rotate through the facility so that all the animals get time in the Inside play areas and outside. All the dogs seem to get along beautifully and none of them appear stressed at all. Piper was always excited to get inside and start playing! They offer boarding and I took advantage of that several times while traveling. I also had cats that I took there for grooming and they did a nice quick job that helped keep the cats from getting stressed. Pros: Clean, Happy Dogs, Cheerful Employees, Low Prices more

Dog owners need to be responsible 4/16/2010

Kennel cough is an airborne sickness that is extremely hard to control. The bordetella shot, like a flu shot, will not guarantee protection. To blame the kennel for your dogs sickness is like blaming the school when your child comes home with a cold. It is very unlikely the your dog would have died as the kennel would certainly have given medical attention before then. I recommend that people learn the facts before posting negative reviews for something that is clearly not the fault of the kennel. more

Love it! 6/3/2009

We love biscuits! It has been a lifesaver. We had to move from a house to an apartment and we have a bigger dog. My husband and I are at work during the day so we bring our dog to biscuits 2-3 times per week. He begins howling as soon as we turn onto the road in front of biscuits and is happy and worn out when he gets picked up. They're very affordable and staff is personable and nice....you can definitely tell they love dogs! more

Rude service and Bordetella 7/16/2007

I used Biscuits last year to board my dogs shortly after I learned they opened in the area. I was very happy then. This year is a different story though. I called and reserved a place for my two dogs to stay while we went on vacation. I was told to bring them in on that day. Although nothing was said to me about getting my dogs vaccines updated, I went ahead and took care of it like I do every year. When I arrived to drop off my dogs I was met by a very rude employee. She did not ask if I had taken my dogs to get their vaccines this year. She seemed annoyed when I handed her some dog toys and treats to give to my dogs while they were there. I was saying goodbye to them and she was very short with me and hurried me out the door. When we arrived back to pick up my dogs afer vacation I was told that one of my dogs had just started coughing within 30 minutes or our arrival. The employee told me it was probably just because of his collar though and not to be concerned. That evening both of my dogs were awake most of the night. They had uncontrollable coughing and did not hardly sleep at all. I took them to the veterinarian in the morning and was told that they have Bordetella. I paid over $200 for medications for the two of them. (Bordetella is similar to bronchitis & typically vaccinated against with results similar to the flu vaccine) I called Biscuits to inform them of the outbreak and rude employee. The manager was aware of the rude employee, I was not the first to complain. She was also aware that one of my dogs was sick, though not the other. Nothing was done to remedy some of the expenses I incurred due to the illness they contracted while staying at Biscuits. When I asked about their policy on vaccinations I was told that they only check the first time an animal is brought in and it is not a policy they enforce after the first visit. They were very non-chalant about the whole incident. I would NOT recommend taking your pet to Biscuits any time in the future. Pros: Dogs are in a day care environment Cons: Poor health hygiene lack of vaccine policy more

Biscuits is the best! 4/4/2007

I take my dog to Biscuits for day care, boarding, and grooming. The staff are really sweet, and my dog loves the place. She starts squealing in the car when we're still blocks away, and that really lets me know that she has a great time there during the day. The rates at Biscuits are really inexpensive, and they give you a discount if you buy package deals (several days of day care paid up-front). The staff even takes pictures of the dogs for every single holiday, and they give them to the owners in a card! My favorite was the Mother's Day picture I got last year of my dog in front of a spring-themed background, with a card that the Biscuits staff had signed in my dog's name. So cute! They don't even charge for these pictures, so that tells me that the staff enjoys dogs and takes great care of them. My dog always comes home tired from playing all day, and I never worry about her being there for a long time, since the facilities are clean, climate-controlled, and safe. Biscuits is a life-saver and, besides my lap, my dog's favorite place in the world. Pros: Everything! Cons: So many people like it, they might need a bigger space soon! more
