I used to really like this restaurant. The menu has always stood apart from the majority of those in this City, with innovative tastes, concepts and presentation!\r
The service however has always been slow and is considerably worse over the lunch period!\r
We have had many visits where the food has more than made up for the lack of service...the Shrimp Bisque with curried sour cream is a must - especially when paired with the wood fired naan, the seafood selections are just wonderful, check out their great cheese plate which you can pair with the more than ample wine list! we have enjoyed their ""tapas' style servings (note: it is more the serving style than the content that renders these tapas) that we have frequently not ventured on to the entrees...but on the occasions we have, they are impressive!\r
However, my most recent visit has not left me wanting to return in a hurry...the usual slow lunchtime service was worse, there was a lack of silverwear, and what was available was clearly not all clean - I ended up having to borrow a fellow diners spoon as my wait for my own was so long, the soup stared to get cold. The Risotto of the day was flavorless and needed some good seasoning; it was simply unimpressive food with unimpressive service!\r
Hopefully one day the service will improve; and I will one day go back to see if the food has returned to its former glory\r
Pros: great wine list, great cheese plate, lots of good choices
Cons: service terrible!
