I had the most amazing Alaskan king crab leg from Billy's. For the amount of food you get the prices are amazing. The waiter was very knowledgeable and was not pushy. more

We have done this before and it's a nice time. We couldn't eat outside a couple of weeks ago because it was too chilly. Meanwhile, the inside was perfectly nice, as well. It was a good time, good food, and good service at Billy's. Yes, the dinner was a bit pricey, but so are stone crabs.\r more

My suggestion if you have never been is go during the day or at sunset when it is pleasant out and sit at one of the tables on the dock outside and get some crabs.\r more

We ate at Billy's a couple of weeks ago in the middle of May and had come in on the late side around 9--which may explain why we certainly had no wait. We ordered crabs and cold slaw and French fries. All were tasty.\r more

This year they decided to do it half afternoon which meant we would be stuck there until dinner! I was pretty desperate searching for the perfect place when my friend Suzanne suggested Billy's Stone Crab at the Waterfront. I went over to check it out and loved it. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I told them what I had to accomplish and they showed me were they would set us up, we went over a special menu for the event and they even suggested some entertainment ideas!.\r more

Preparing an office event is never easy. You have to choose a place that's affordable, that can be adapted to what you need which basically consists of independence, good food, enough space, good location and the chance to survive through all the speeches without taking the risk of being booed by the rest of the customers. We had no idea what to expect...but we were very pleased with our meal and service. The servers were extremely helpful and courteous. The atmosphere was classic. I read another review where they talked about the servers wearing tuxedos, there is nothing wrong with dressing nice and treating your customers like they are the most important people in the restaurant. I wish more restaurants had the class and character that Billy's represented. The food was great! When was the last time you enjoyed cheap fresh seafood...if you’re looking for cheap seafood go to red lobster or the boardwalk on Hollywood beach.   • Billy's Stone Crab Restaurant is known far and wide nationally and internationally as one of THE best seafood restaurant & market in the Ft. Lauderdale area. And for a good reason. Billy's two story fine dining seafood restaurant, is accessible both by elevator and stairs and has floor to ceiling captivating views of the Intracoastal Water Way in the main elegant dining room. The sunset is magnificent. And at night, when the draw bridge of Hollywood Boulevard is illuminated and the lights change colors, the view is quite spectacular, making the restaurant a preferred city spot.
