I purchased a new Dodge ram 2500 Cummins Diesel truck from Bill Luke Dodge and the engine light continuously comes on. I had to the shop 4 times in 4 months and it still comes on....

I took my Jeep Grand Cherokee to Bill Luke, before reading reviews and became a little nervous about leaving it once I read the reviews. I had a Saturday appointment to have them change my oil and find out "why" my 4x4 light was coming on and staying on. Well they checked the oil, but then called me to tell me that the technician who was to check the light went home and I would have to bring it back the following week. Needless to say, I was a little irritated about having to bring it back when they set an appointment with me. Well, I did return the following Monday and all went smoothly. My service person was extremely helpful. She continually called me throughout the day to let me know where they were on the repairs with my car and the status of my warranty coverage and even received approval and payment quickly from my warranty company. And it was all completed on Monday. They even washed my car! Although it started out a little bumpy, my overall exprience with Bill Luke was a good one and I would go back. As with any new relationship, sometimes you've got to work out the kinks... more

They didn't make it an unpleasant experience buying a new car. I thought my salesman was honest and didn't play the typical games like most dealers do. The service after the sale is wonderful as well. Will buy from them again in the future. more

had a problem with my Dodge Nitro that the boys' up north couldnt figure out.. after wasting about a week i brought it down to where my bro bought his car.. Had it in the shop one day and they fixed it.. my rep was real helpful - she even returned my calls. would def take it back here again more

Brought my Nitro in for service.. had weird vibration. boys' up north couldnt figured it out. Cheryl S in service, had it for a day and it was good as new!! Highly recommend this place. Good food on-site too more

I have only had positive experiences at Bill Luke. I bought my Jeep Liberty there and also have it serviced there. All of the people at Bill Luke are friendly and professional - they go above and beyond to offer excellent customer service. The dealership is very clean and they even have a cafe on site! There is a reason Bill Luke has been in business for so long and is a staple in the Valley - I will never go anywhere else to purchase my vehicles more

Adrian the owner and chef at Luke's Diner is awesome. I'm a vegetarian and didn't see anything listed on the menu. I asked if they had anything vegetarian and Adrian said they have vegi burgers. I ordered one with peppers, onions and mushrooms and it s the best vegi burger I've ever had. I will frequent here every time I'm in the area outside of having my car serviced. I would highly recommend you stop in! more

I really don't like buying cars nor do I like negotiating price. After searching online for about an hour I came across a vehicle Bill Luke had that was the cheapest in phx. I called the number spoke with a gentleman and came down and bought the same day. It was so easy and the staff was so professional that I would recommend all my friends to Bill Luke. more

I went to Bill Luke bc I know by reputation they are suppose to be good, WELL they ARE! I didn't know how exactly to explain what I needed to Greg the parts guy. Greg came out to my car climbed under it and figure it our for me! That to me was going above and beyond which is why i am posting today! more

We had a good experience with Bill Luke. We bought our fist car there. A Jeep. The salesman was fine. He didn't seem pushy or hurried. We have taken our Jeep back for service a few times and feel confident that they know our car & it's getting the best service for the best price. more

Service is sometimes lacking 7/28/2005

We purchased out Jeep from Bill Luke and were happy with the price paid and the vehicle itself. However, the service department does not always deliver quality repairs or diagnostics. For example, I had my tensioner replaced and shortly after, I heard a belt-squealing sound. I called and my normal advisor wasn't there. I went down and the advisor looked at it and said it was "adjusting itself." Well, the noise continued. I went back again and my advisor told me they would probably not be able to find the problem since it was sporadic, but I could wait and someone would look at it. Over an hour later, I called the service manager from the lobby and demanded someone look at my car since I had been there 3 times for this repair and it still wasn't right. He had someone look at the car and fix the tensioner as it hadn't been properly adjusted. I wasted a lot of time and gas on their error. We also had trouble with our engine light coming on. The service department told us we didn't tighten the gas cap enough. Well, we religiously began keeping track. It was OK for a short time and started with the light again. We went elsewhere (after the warranty was expired) and bought a new gas cap as it turned out a faulty gas cap was to blame. This problem originally occurred when the car was less than a year old. The final example I would like to share is about oil changes. I called in advance to schedule a time and asked how quickly we could be done as I would have my 2 year old with me who would get bored. I had to do this myself as my husband was in Iraq at the time. She said an hour. I ended up having my dad take the car in as my husband was medically evacuated from Iraq the day before and I was waiting for a phone call. When he got there, they said it would be THREE hours. I am really glad I didn't take my son on there. I was not happy as I had been proactive and called to make sure we would be out quickly. I will say the body shop at Bill Luke is excellent with great customer service. At the service department, expect hassles (there are many more I haven't detailed here) and to be treated like a number. more
