Carpet in studio is stinky, room have no clear air to breath, fans in the toilets clogged with 2 inch dust. Staff is prohibiting drinking any water within 25 minutes. If you feel that you passing out because you are overheated, they are prohibiting you to take any water. Whoever is considering getting a Groupon: After 3-4 classes they are harassing students and discouraging to never come back, without clearly explaining reasons. Once you start to reason with them they are refusing to honor remaining classes that you paid for. When you ask for a refund, they are refusing to refund any money. Do NOT sign up and prepay for the classes. Stay away as far as possible. more

Give this yoga a try! I had always wanted to try yoga but was nervous about going into a new studio and feeling foolish among the lean people surrounding me. I searched for a studio and found Bikram Yoga Marietta less than 2 miles from my home. I didn't know the difference between Bikram, other hot yogas, and any other type of yoga (and still don't know anything about any yoga other than Bikram), but this studio was so welcoming and the staff was warm and helpful. I initially signed up for a week; I was dead on my feet after the first 2 classes but determined to get my money's worth out of the week for which I had paid. After the third class, everything changed. I felt energy like I'd never had before--and certainly not like I'd ever had after 90 minutes of any other type of workout. I started going to class as much as possible and usually got in 5 days a week. My body changed--becoming leaner!--and my entire disposition improved. My husband was able to tell whether or not I'd been to yoga on any given day by my moods. :) After about a year, I began working a second job and had to take a break from yoga. I recently gave up the second job and immediately went back to Bikram and it's even better than I remember. I'm sleeping better and my body is getting leaner all over again. It's a great experience. Some people may consider it pricey, but it's worth a little extra! Compared to the amounts I've spent on Bally's/LA Fitness/Anytime Fitness/personal trainers throughout the years, Bikram Yoga gives me much better (and quicker) results with my body and makes me feel a lot better mentally than any other type of workout. Still skeptical? Come in to the studio and talk to Naomi, the owner. She'll answer every question and treat you like she's known you her entire life. Pros: The best workout you'll ever get in 90 minutes Cons: Not enough locations around the world! I'd love a studio on every corner! more

Please give it a try - Bikram is awesome!! 10/15/2008

I took Bikram Yoga in NYC and loved it. When I moved to Atlanta, I tried Atlanta Hot Yoga. I did not enjoy the class as much because the instructor was pretty rude to me several times. I had a Bikram tank top on one day and one of the instructors told me that I shouldn't wear it to class because Atlanta Hot Yoga does not practice Bikram. Talk about touchy! This really caught me off guard and offended me. So, I stopped practicing and took an almost 2 yr break from it. 3 months ago I found Bikram Yoga Marietta and it has been wonderful. The instructors are knowledgable and expect you to challenge yourself in every class. They are not drill sargents or anything of the sort. In fact, before every class they ask if anyone has an injury so they can help him/her with their poses. I'm a runner and Bikram has helped tone my body, raise my fitness level and give me confidence. It is an awesome work out! You will not be disappointed so please check it out! Pros: Excellent, well-educated instructors, clean studio and amenities Cons: classes can get crowded so arrive early to get a spot more

Awesome Yoga Experience! 12/12/2007

Bikram Yoga Marietta is the best Hot Yoga and Yoga class in general I have ever attended. The owner, Naomi, is very nice and personable and makes you feel very welcomed and at home when you come in the door. I went to Hot Yoga after not attending for several years. After the first night,I felt like a new person. The heat in the room really makes you sweat out all the toxins in your body so you feel totally relaxed when you leave. The postures are also great for stretching and toning. I have several back , neck and stomach problems and I can already feel them going away after only 2 nights of being back in yoga. Several people have told me stories of how they have lost weight and also been healed from various health problems. This is the perfect exercise for everyone:From someone who has never exercised , to the person who has always worked out, to the experienced athlete. It is also great for people with sports injuries. I highly recommend Bikram Yoga as a way to detox, lose weight, strengthen and tone your muscles , and to experience inner peace. And I recommend this place for anyone who feels nervous about going to yoga for the first time-you will feel very comfortable and welcomed here! Pros: Wonderful Teachers, Great Atmosphere, Awesome classes more
