Best

You feel like a kid in a candystore or a scout on a camping trip when you come to Bigfoot's Lodge. Pros: Marshmallows + beverages = love

Worst

I was looking forward to checking this place out. When I arrived I thought the decor was great and it had a fun vibe. I ordered a Seven & Seven and it was awful. Very weak pour...

Great decor, good music, average drinks 9/27/2005

Drinks are a little pricy and a little weak. Not too crowded, and I liked every other song they played, a good mix. I had to set myself on fire to get a bartender to serve me on more than one occasion. Nice sized booths for large groups. Great place to stop in for a couple of drinks, wouldn't want to post up here all night, though. Pros: Fun scene, Good music Cons: Is a scene, Too loud to converse more

THE BEST! 8/29/2005

Love this bar because of the location (eastside), the lack of pretension, the great bartenders, the great music every night, great drink specials too. Fun decor, comfy booths, low light so you look good. It's all there and more. Pros: fun bartenders, great music, easy parking Cons: no snacks more

Sasquatch beware! 8/23/2005

Ehhh . . . it's a great atmosphere, however the people are Pretentious. The bartenders always seem to look right past me. Keep in mind I have been here many times. The music is really good! drinks ok. Pros: music, atmosphere Cons: service, trendy more

Definately worth a visit!!! 6/3/2005

We went here not knowing what to expect and we loved it!! This place definately doesn't look like much from outside but wait till you get inside. I loved the atmosphere but swanky this place is not. Once inside, you'll feel like you're out in the woods in a cabin or something. The way they have this place set up is very comfortable and relaxing. We had a great time and their drinks were great too! Pros: Atmosphere, Drinks Cons: Parking more

Smokey says ""Drink!"" 3/14/2005

I love this bar, I just wish more people did. This place is often dead on weekdays, which is a shame because they have great drink specials, awesome DJs and some kind of animatronic woodland creature. They also have unique drinks and good beers on tap. The place is full of rockabilly types and the DJ is spins an eclectic mix. Basically, this place is awesome, but it would be nice if I could go on a Wednesday night and not be the only one there. Pros: Atmosphere, Unique drinks, Music Cons: Empty on weekdays more

A rockabilly's paradise 3/7/2005

This place is alright if you enjoy hanging out with James Dean wannabee types. Alot of rockabilly / 80's sort of people frequent this place. Personally not my cup of tea. Parking is also quite difficult to find. My party had to park their geo prism's out on the neighboring street. After 1 hour of feeling out of place I convinced my cadre of deviants to exit this watering hole of social inadequates. Just wasn't my scene is all. Highly recommended to anybody who loves Robert Smith, Social Distortion, and what have you. more

The Lodge rocks! 2/19/2005

This is hands down one of the coolest bars I've been to in LA, and I've been to them all. The staff at the Bigfoot were all super friendly and fast, which is a rarity in LA. The drinks were great and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere here is a given and the music was awesome. Definitely a place you'll find yourself going back to again and again. Pros: drinks, music, staff Cons: none, none, none more

$4 PBR??!!! 9/21/2004

This bar used to be really great, but the quality of the clientele and the entertainment has really declined in the past couple years. Despite what the description claims, they don't have live music anymore. The drinks are way too expensive, $6.50 for a cocktail, and $4 for a PBR??!! Ok, so the cocktails are almost reasonable, but why on earth is the PBR so expensive? Go check it out, it's worth it just to see the spectacular job they did on decor, but don't expect to stay long.... Pros: decor Cons: , hot and stuffy, no live music more

Bigfoot Rocks 9/2/2004

We Loved it! I highly recommend it. The decor was way too cool and the vibe was very welcoming. more

New Favorite Bar 8/17/2004

I love the ambience of the Bigfoot. The music is the best and there were quite a few single girls the night my friends and I went. Clean restrooms are always a plus too. more

woodsy 8/15/2004

I have never seen an interior as cool as this. These guys went all out. Feels like you are up in the mountains with a swanky Hollywood flair Pros: Cute Chicks, Easy Access, No Attitude more

Powergurl 8/8/2004

I had been wanting to check out the Bigfoot Lodge for a while since I had been hearing a lot about it from friends. It was definitely a great bar that I'll go back to. The decor and crowd give the Lodge a really good vibe. Our bartender was super nice to us (imagine that in LA?). We had a really fun time. Pros: good vibe, cute guys, great bartender more

Maybe if I was 21 again.... 4/4/2004

I think if I wanted to go back to college I would head to Bigfoot more often. Lack of exciting people, lack of any fun...the only decent thing was the DJ. Wish I could've taken him with me in my car! Will NOT be going back again... Pros: DJ Cons: , atmosphere more
