The big ten party store is absolutely outstanding. This store has a huge assortment of beer and wine and it has an enormous amount of candies and chocolates. Also, many of the candies and chocolates have been imported from other countries, so you will be unlikely to find them anywhere else. more

A great wine and cheese store 8/15/2005

Big Ten Market is located at 1628 Packard. It's selection of wine, cheese and cured meats is difficult to top in Ann Arbor, and includes many specialty items. They constantly add new products, such as hand-carved prosciutto, and the latest, store-made mozzerella. The wine selection is also excellent, and the staff is very knowledgeable about pairing wine, food and budget. Sales and case discounts help make the food and wine more affordable. more

The best selction of wine around.....not your run of the mill grocery chain variety. the staff knows their wine VERY well and can offer suggestion to go with whatever meal you are planning, etc. The bottles tend to be a bit expensive, but well worth it, especially for a gift (housewarming, engagdement, etc). ALso, they have a great selecion of cheese that you can't find other places- stop in and check it out- it's worth it! more
