Great place for gifts 12/21/2005

This place is great, because they have many types of chocolates and cookies that are unique to hawaii. One of the best things is that on entering the store, they will give out some samples and kona coffee. If you need to they will also ship out what you buy to anywhere...for a price of course, but its very convenient. more

Superb Cookies are the best to be found 11/15/2005

I doubt that you could find better shortread than that sold at Big Island Candies in HIlo. They have a deserved reputation as the best cookies in the state. You can even watch them being made and they give free samples at the door.! Their shortbread has just the right consistency -crisp,yet crumbly. The chocolate dipped ones are my favorites bur they offer macadamia shortbread as well as plain and sugar free. You can also choose either milk chocolate dipped cookies or dark chocolate dipped ones. more

Very Delicious Cookies 8/10/2005

I always come here to buy cookies for family and friends when I visit them in Honolulu. I also buy cookies for friends here on the Big Island for special occasions such as Christmas. You can't top these chocolate dipped shortbread cookies! more

YUM! 7/26/2005

Wonderful products, wonderful atmosphere! I take my girls here every so often as a treat. An employee offers samples and coffee as the customers walk through the door, and there are windows where everyone can actually see the employees hand-dipping the cookies and other goodies. And their ice cream is heavenly! I've picked up a lot of orders for my mother-in-law, and the way the company runs is very smoothly and orderly. more
