Caring for Kitty 3/29/2006

The Big Cat Rescue is a great place to take children of all ages. The atmosphere is really like a jungle and the animals are clean and well fed. The staff are very nice and the donation is a fair amount considering what the donation is going for. You will leave the Big Cat Rescue with a good feeling knowing that there are people who truely care about neglected animals. more

Such a wonderful Alternative To A Zoo... 11/5/2005

I am opposed to zoos and circuses because of the exploitation of animals. The Big Cat Rescue is a PERFECT place to take your older children to see beautiful healthy and well rounded cats. My daughter has always wanted to go to a zoo when I opposed. However, this place is clean, serene, and all about the animals. Also, knowing that your money is going for their betterment is a plus. this place is so cool. you can take a tour and see tigers,lins,and all kinds of different cats. they help big cats that peolpe thought they can take of and they find out they can't ...so the rscue takes them and provides a great home. more

Feels like being in the jungle. 10/27/2005

What a fantastic experience to be so close to all these big cats. You can phone ahead or just show up for the 1 hour tours. I believe ours was around 3.00 p.m. These are unwanted animals that probably would not be around if it wasn't for this place. You are asked for a $20 donation and it is worth every penny. I just loved the tigers and couldn't get enough of them. more
