This is the best seafood restaurant in South Louisiana. Their boiled seafood is perfectly spiced and boiled and they have their own special fish fry that is the best I have ever tasted. I wish they would market it. Whenever we decide to go out, my whole family wants to go to Big Al's. more

Incredible crawfish 11/7/2011

I have been to Big Al's about 10 times in the past two years and I have to say that the food is incredible. They have the BEST crawfish I have ever tasted when it is in season. The service has gotten better a lot better since the new management has taken over. The only negative thing about Big Al's is that it takes me an hour to get there from New Orleans. If you are in South Louisiana, this is a must stop restaurant. more

Excellent food and service 10/23/2008

I went to Big Al's (for the first time) two years ago and I have been making it a twice a year pilgramige ever since! The prices are excellent on some of the best seafood (fried and grilled) in South Louisiana. They have good boiled crawfish (when in season) and my favorite is the Shrimp Po Boy!\r \r Pros: All of the food\r Cons: The drive to it from Baton Rouge! more
