After 15 years of going to the same stylist for the same cut every time, I decided to try my friend's stylist - Courtney Heiman. I had heard great things about Courtney & her multiple talents working with hair. The experience was great from start to finish! From the greeting to the cut & style to the finish product was a great experience in comparison to my old salon. She encouraged me to try a new style, that I was somewhat aprehensive about, but I trusted & valued her advice from others & am extremely satisfied with my new look. I have received numerous compliments including being told I look younger & my hair looks thicker. I would highly recommend Courtney Heiman to anyone & would follow her anywhere she goes! I went to Stevie Jo for every dance in high school and I loved my Updos, they were always just what I wanted or better. I sometimes said to do whatever you want and she would just create magic on my head. So of course she did my wedding this year! My bridesmaids and I loved our hair styles and mine stayed all night long. Your awesome girl! Thanks! more

Beyond Beauty has style, class, and just an overall feeling of ahhhh! I had a great relaxing afternoon. All the staff are very nice and helpful. Shannon is my stylist, and I love her. She listens to what I want and keeps her education up to date with the newest ideas for hair care and color. She helped me change my hair from straw and dry to fabulously soft curls. And the color techniques are above and BEYOND all other salons. I have been searching for 3 years to find the best stylist that has knowledge of how to do Red hair color that looks great and last longer than 4 to 5 weeks. She is very talented. As I said, all the stylists at Beyond Beauty keep up to date with the latest techniques and styles. Shannon specializes in hair color and curly hair. She introduced Diva Curl and I fell in love with my curls all over again! All the stylists are great at Beyond Beauty! I hope you will try out a stylist there soon! Stevie Jo has been my stylist for 4 years. I followed her when she moved to Beyond Beauty. Very talented stylist. She's very personable , attentive and stays current with latest trends.... and she is reasonably priced! I have short brown hair and she eventually talked me into a trendy cut with some added highlights. She told be about products that will keep it's texture and style that actually work! I get compliments on my hair all the time now! :) Beyond Beauty has a nice fresh and trendy appeal and a very friendly staff. The receptionists and owner go out of their way to make me feel welcome every time I go in. Love that Terri. Highly recommend this Salon and suggest you call Stevie Jo! A very comfortable salon but main reason I like it is because of the talent of my stylist, Shannon Altic. She listens and delivers with cut & color. I find Shannon really cares about the customer's wishes. more

I have been to spas all over the world and this experience was one of the worst. I went to Beyond Beauty for a facial and was hoping for a nice, relaxing experience. It started off with just a few things that bugged me: not adjusting the table for comfort, cold hands, cold product, playing the same song over and over for the entire hour (Pachelbel Canon in D), then things gradually started getting more irritating. She ""massaged"" my face which was ok for the most part but at one point she started violently moving her hands, like very light slapping. I guess she was trying to make the skin taught. I barely got any neck/back/shoulder/hand massage and no scalp massage or foot massage. However, and this is the worst part, the aesthetician left the room for over 5 minutes! It's only a 60 minute massage and she was gone for almost 10% of the time (technically I was only in there for 50 minutes because I was late, which is my fault, but makes it even worse that she left for that long)! I was completely shocked, I have never had that happen. If I just wanted to lay down with product on my face waiting around, I would have stayed home. She was a nice lady but the experience was one of the worst I have had. I usually never write reviews but I just couldn't let this go. more

What a friendly cool place. My stylist Irina worked wonders on me. She took the time to talk to me about my lifestyle and habits with my hair. That was a first. I look like a college student instead of an overworked librarian. I loved how she was not afraid to change me or give me suggestions. Things that I probably would have done if I had creativity w/ my hair. She really is a very talented artist. more
