Bewley's Furniture is a nice Furniture Store but their Prices are outrougsley high. I am sure it is good quality but I have seen some of the pieces at other Furniture Stores for 1...

We just bought our couch from Bewlys and were very satisfied with out purchase. We got great customer service upon entering the store and got a great deal on our sectional. We would definetly look into buying our next pieces from them. more

Pleasure to shop here 6/14/2011

I have been frequenting Bewley's for years. As my houses have grown and my furniture tastes have grown up, Bewley's has been there for me. The range of furniture goes from very basic, starter furniture, to high-end products like leather sofas and tempurpedic mattresses.The sales staff is friendly and will show you around or allow you to shop at your leisure. It is not like many of the stores in town where you almost feel untrusted as the sales staff stalks you around the store. At Bewley's you almost feel like you are just looking at the furniture in a friend's living room.I will continue to update and refresh my home at Bewley's. It is a pleasure to shop there and to purchase from there. more

Great and friendly service 6/7/2011

Upon entering the store,I was greeted by a thin female who gave me a warm greeting and explained the sales promotions currently taking place.I imformed her I would like to take a little time by myself to look around and she politely excused herself but reiterated that if there was anything she could do for me to please let her know.Being new to town,I was very impressed by the size of the store and the amount of furniture available for sale.I found a living room set and a dining set I was interested in and decided to get the young lady with whom I was speaking with earlier.Within minutes she had me written up and qualified with a very good finance plan with which I could make monthly payments.The whole transaction was very smooth and I am surely going to return to Bewleys to purchase the rest of my furniture for my new houseas funds permit.No pressure-No hype. more

My sister and I was looking for a bedroom set(twin set) and we were greeted and helped by a sales associate(Janet). We found her to be very helpful,professional and knowledgeable. We purchased the bedroom set and we were pleased at the quality of the set and the service that we received. The delivery was on time and the delivery men(Michael,John,Gabriel & Chris)handle the job very professionally. My mother (passed on) was a customer for many years and she loved your furniture. Now my sister and I will be customers forever. What a fantastic deal!!! Thank for everything! more

Great place 5/24/2011

My friend referred me to Bewleys Furniture in Shreveport off of W 70th Street. We called to get the location and spoke with a sales rep (Janet). I walked in there and she pleasantly welcomed us at the door. I had no clue really what I wanted the only thing I knew was that I wanted an Oriental type theme. I needed a bed, couch, recliner, and a dining room set on a limited budget. She knew exactly what would catch my eye and was an amazing person to work with. walked in and in 30 minutes had my imagination rolling with ideas. We found the perfect match for my taste and at a very affordable price. I would recommend her to anyone and I will be buying alot more there just because of her attentiveness, and willingness to work with someone a limited budget. Thank you Janet. more

AWFUL TREATMENT 6/27/2009

Today on June 27, 2009 my fianc? and I came to this store to purchase a sofa. A few weeks ago I visited this place and got followed around and hounded by one woman but thought nothing of it. Today I went in again. The moment we came in a sales associate bumped into us and refused to apologize. I ignored it and since we did not need any help, and we simply made our own way there. Immediately we were stopped by another sales associate, a thin woman with chin length dark brown hair. She looked us up and down and rudely asked if we needed any help. I said no since we did not want somebody hovering over us as we made a decision. We walked forward and the sales associate stopped us went up to me and said that she was the greeter and she would get fired if she did not greet us. I said that we really needed no help and that she had already done her job. We walked away then thinking that we would be rid of somebody that not only spoke down to us but treated us in such am awful way. But it did not end there. The woman stopped us again and asked if we had been here before. She demanded that we tell her who our sales associate was before. I truly could not remember and said so. She said to just say who it was so that we ""would have no trouble"". By then I was fed up with her treating me like a criminal and not a customer. We walked out of the store and I heard her talking negatively about us to another woman. I'm sure to never come back to this store again. Cons: everything more
