Dr. Strickland has really raised the bar for chiropractic doctors! He has EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS by being well educated professionally and extremely personable. Our whole family (parents, teens, and twin children with cerebral palsy) have been treated. His care is making a great difference in our lives after just a few months! He is gentle and reassuring, positive and happy, and thorough with his care. We chose Dr. Strickland because of his advanced training in Activator Methods. His adjustments are always gentle and effective. We have evaluated our medications and vitamin supplements, stretching and exercise routines, even posture and orthopedics. We appreciate the office staff and their kindness. We have been seen promptly at each visit, had no problems with the scheduling and billing, and found the location convenient. The office is new and very comfortable with private adjustment rooms. Parking is behind the building and always adequate. We recommend Better Life Chiropractic because finally we have a doctor that we can all look forward to seeing. more

This was truly the worst Chiropractic experience I have ever had. The doctor and staff are incompetent in regards to the business end of things. The billing staff has no experience with billing insurance companies which in turn makes all bills that should be paid by your insurance carrier your responsibility. You begin with them taking a copy of your card and any information pertaining to your accident if applicable. I am not quite sure what they do with that information from there but it results in a $5000.00 bill 6 months after your last treatment date. My chiropractic care didn't help my situation at all and it has become apparent that I will have to bill the insurance my self and give Dr. Strickland my entire cash savings account. Please do not allow this company to steal your financial security and put your family into serious termoil as it has mine!! more

From the minute you walk into the office, you know you are in a special place. Rachel always greets me by name, and makes me feel right at home. The Doctors are all amazing. I initially saw Dr Hall because my fingers were tingling when I was at work and would wake me up at night. After a few adjustments, the tingling was gone, and I feel better than I have felt in years. I am sleeping better. I have more energy. My headaches are gone. It has been amazing. I am so glad I decided to go see the chiropractor. The staff at Better Life is so great! For starters, you walk in the door and are greeted by their friendly receptionist, Rachel. Then after signing in, almost always, you're immediately taken back to a room where you have to wait no longer than about 2 minutes and in walks the doctor. My wife and I each see Dr. Hall, and we can't say enough about him! He really knows his stuff and takes extra care to personalize a treatment plan for what will work for you, individually. I had very bad back problems before finally deciding to see someone. I'm glad I did! I now have a treatment plan specifically suited to my needs, and I've felt so much better. If you're like I was, you may feel nervous about seeing a chiropractor. Maybe you don't really know if it will help you. The staff at Better Life will make you feel at ease. They have different methods for correcting alignment that are suited to your comfort level. I was really nervous when I went for the first time, but it turned out to be a breeze. I'm so glad I went! Dr. Hall is wonderful! I never believed in Chiropractics until I saw how it changed my daughters life. My daughter was t-boned in a car accident and after two years continued to be in constant pain. I've been a patient of Dr. Strickland for close to 7 years. My kids see him, too. He has helped with my sciatic nerve problems, with hip problems,with neck problems, with pinched nerves, my headaches have diminished. His rates are very reasonable, and in the times when I've needed to make payment arrangements, I have not had a single problem working with the billing to get the account squared away. My husband, baby and I have been going to see Dr. Olsen a few days a week after we were rear ended in a car collision. From the first time I called Better Life Chiropractic just after my car accident, I have been treated with only kindness and respect. Dr. Olson is fantastic! He takes a great deal of time making sure that I am well informed about my treatment and is diligent in assuring that his prescribed protocol is working to make me feel better. He has also been wonderful with my young boys. They were nervous and bit scared after the accident. Recognizing their anxiety, Dr. Olson was gentle and patient with them. Wow!! I am so impressed with Better Life Chiropractic. I started with quite a few aches and pains, and now I feel wonderful! With the help of Dr. Hall, I've been able to relieve many of my chronic issues (migraines, insomnia, back pain, etc.) Now I'm feeling better than I did when I was a teenager! This is the best team I have ever known and Ive been having chiropractic care for over 20yrs in several states. They care about you entire health program and they educate you on whatever your health needs are, and most of all they are honest and sincere. This team has the skills to aid from babies to the oldest of people and for every ache and pain and injury they will do whatever it takes to help you get better and healthy.. If they don't have the answers they will research until they find it. I had an auto accident and was injured and they located the only neurological chiropractor in the area who they assisted me and then I returned to this team for my follow through and maintenance care. My family has been seeing Dr. Strickland for several years now. We love the location and office environment. We are always able to get in for an adjustment. Dr. Strickland treats my boys routinely during sports seasons to help keep them in top performance. Just recently my daughter was in a car accident. She was rear-ended. Dr Strickland took time to see her on a Saturday evening, to help give her some relief. She is still recovering but feeling much better. He went the extra mile for us and we so appreciated it! I am a firm believer in chiropractic care. When I have aches and pains I don't want to just take an Advil. I want to get to the source of the problem so it doesn't continue. Dr. Hall and staff are the friendliest and most accommedating staff I have met. They bend over backwards to work with you within the confines of their open hours. I feel my health is beginning to show signs of improvement since I've started treatment at their clinic. I would reccommend their services to others in need of improvement of their health. In 2006 I injured my neck/back moving furniture during home renovations. I was in horrible pain, exhausted, dizzy, nauseous, experiencing Vertigo symptoms. I was desperate to get relief and back to my busy life. A friend told me she was recieving chiropractic care for similar complaints and was raving about how wonderful it felt and how well it was working. I took a chance and responded to an ad in the paper by Dr. Strickland for a free exam and consult. It was the best call I ever made! I started feeling better from the first adjustment. After completing my recommended treatment plan, I was feeling as good as new and claiming victory.Then tragedy struck. On May 26,2007 I became the victim of a Level III ATV accident in which I was Lifeflighted out of the mountains. I was struck in the face by a basketball sized granite stone after being ejected from the capsized ATV. Unfortunately, I was wearing an open-faced helmet( it saved my life) but my nose and right side of my face was crushed. After my first 2 reconstuctive surgeries,(I've had 4 to date) I went back to BLC to have Dr Roy save my neck again! He gently & confidently straightened me out again. I'll never be as good as new, but with your help,I'm still claiming victory! "Tune-ups help clear the fog, re-energizes me, helps me manage the pain and pressure of my "altered anatomy" and I have not caught any of the 'bugs" my kids keep passing around! Two disks in my lower back were compressed. By placing me on their spinal decompression machine, my back was comfortably s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d back out to where it belongs over the course of twenty tratments and adjustments..... a bit like that last scene in that one Mel Gibson movie, though without the pain and the gore. How fantastic to go through my day without that chronic pain in the background of my mind constantly nagging me. Leg pain - GONE. Back pain - GONE. Once I completed the series of treatments, I found the pain starting to creep back over time (about 2 months), so now I go in every once in a while for some "routine maintenance". Considering the nasty alternatives (drugs or surgery), this approach works great and so does this office and their staff with the prices for their services fully disclosed up front and very competitive with others in the valley offereing similar treatment plans. The one draw back - I live in Boise and their office is in Meridian, so I had to drive each time. But the $$$ savings made it worthwhile. I started seeing Dr. Strickland in 2005, and he explained just how he could help me best with my problems, especially the stiff neck I’ve always suffered with. He was very open and helpful, explaining everything so that I could understand and answering all my questions as we started my treatment. He is always concerned about how I am feeling and is always giving new information on how to improve your well being. Today I go for my monthly adjustments and have never felt better. I have been coming to see Dr. Strickland since 2006 when my back and legs were hurting me so badly I could barely walk. I had marked improvement and pain relief after a short period of time, and Doc took the time to educate me about my nervous system and overall health through chiropractic. Since then my husband and 3 of my children have become patients as well. Unlike any other Chiropractor I've been to. Dr. Strickland listens to me and seems genuinly concerned for my well-being. He has a very holistic approach and teaches me how I can help myself. The only Chiropractor that can adjust my spine without it hurting. He sees my whole family now and has helped all of us when we've needed him. Can't thank you enough Doc!
