UPDATE: 01/11/2008 >> This place has been sold to a restaurant called "Best of Mediterranean" and the food quality has gone down hill in a big way. When we ordered take out recently we were told that prices went up, however the food quality was better ....so wrong. For starters the chicken was a bit dry, we were told they had no fries, and that they no longer carried garlic sauce for the chicken (big mistake IMO). Another co-worker commented that her chicken was under cooked, and that the dark meat chicken still had skin attached...that coupled with hard pita means we're likely never going to order from here again.
It's really sad we LOVED Hollywood Pita and we're sad to see that the new mgmt isn't going to keep the food quality the same - this has to translate to a huge loss of business from our building alone. FYI - the awesome hot sauce that people used to love is no longer served either.
COME BACK HWP - we miss your tasty garlicness!
I work down the street and we eat at this place on a regular basis, for good reason - it's cheap, it's good, and it's fast. Delivery from here has never taken more than 20 minutes for our office, and the food always arrives hot! The only drawback I found with delivery is that they don't always include sauces, dressing for salads, and sometimes when they do they aren't properly put into containers - making a mess.
Things to order here: Chicken Kabob plate, chicken lafa wrap, Greek salad with chicken schwarma. I love the chicken kabob plate with fries, and the hummus is really good here!
Pros: None anymore - we want our HWP Back!
