dishonest 2/25/2018

installed the wrong catalytic converter on my olds, won't process my exhaust properly. they said I had engine problems, even though when I asked what, they said they aren't equipped to diagnose probs. when I told them I saw my mechanic, and it was their converter, made for a 4 cylinder, mines an 8, they now say the warranty only covers rust out !! STAY AWAY !!!!!!!!! more

I've taken my autos there on many occasions and they are always honest and fair with me. They don't gouge on pricing and will work with you to get the remedy you need. There was an occasion where the replacement parts failed immediately and they were able to replace them free of charge to me (labor included) AFTER their regular hours. I couldn't have been more pleased! more

Seniors...Steer Clear! 9/7/2010

My 90-year-old mother took her Ford Escort to Best Muffler last week because it was noisy, and the Ford dealership had previously recommended their work. The tech told her that they could fix the problem. Five minutes & $79 later, the tech said that the muffler was fixed. This week the muffler was even noisier so Mom took the car back to Best Muffler and asked Dwayne why the muffler was still noisy. Instead of informing Mom as to how the problem could be remedied, he screamed at her and said he wouldn't touch her car. "Take your car to Monro or somewhere else," he yelled, "I'm not going to fix it!" Based on the rudeness and lack of service at Best Muffler, I recommend that senior steer clear of Best Muffler. more

Worst Muffler is more like it... 12/6/2005

I had to take my car back to this place 3 times before they fixed what they were supposed to originally fix in the first place. Not to mention just because I was a female they thought they were going to try and scam me and charge me extra for this and that and treat me like I didn't know a thing or two about cars. I will never trust this place ever again and I've advised everyone I know not to go there. Definitely not a female friendly atmosphere. more
