I used to really like Best Buy, but lately I am just sick of it. It's too corporate, too strict, too bureaucratic. There's a rule for everything. Yeah it's a huge store and they have a great selection of stuff, but the sales people (despite the fact that they're not on commission) aren't well trained and will tell you anything just to sell a product. Quite often it's too crowded in here, and the sales people bug you when you want to be left alone and are too busy or not to be found when you actually have a question. Plus the return policy sucks - don't even think about not getting a pink sticker on your return from Loss Prevention when you walk in the door or they will think you stole the piece of crap you're returning. You only have 30 days to make a return. Sorry, but I thought most companies were more flexible with that these days, ya know, like maybe they'd caught on to a thing called customer service. Yesterday I wanted to return some headphones that broke (3 of them broke in the last few months and I have no idea why) that I'd bought around Christmas. I still had the receipt. But noooo, it's been more than 30 days so no go. I think that's just crappy. Crappy merchandise, crappy service. I mean should you really have to buy a PRP (Product replacement plan) on headphones just to make sure they don't crap out on you? That's just ridiculous.
