Best Buy 1/2/2007

So my husband and I went to Best Buy the day after Thanksgiving. We knew it was going to be crazy, but this was out of control. We waited in line for over an hour. The sales people "seemed" helpful at first. We had several people ask if they could help us. As soon as we asked them a simple question, "do you have this tv in stock", they said they would check the backroom and no one ever came back. We went to 3 different sales people and while waiting in line to check out, 20 minutes later a sales person returns to answer our question. I know that day must be terrible to work in retail, but it just left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't think I will be buying from Best Buy again more

Great best buy 11/24/2006

This is a really great best buy. The salespeople are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. When I was having a difficult time in deciding which vacuum cleaner I wanted to buy, the salesperson was very helpful with his recommendations. I have never had problems obtaining/returning items that I have bought from this best buy. The atmosphere of this store is pretty cool and welcoming. Every time I go into a Best Buy, I am amzed by the amount of electronic equipment but ALWAYS let down by the horrible customer service. There us always an employee already running around to help someone else so they can't even stop to help you. Prices are high and 'clearance' isn't much lower. I usually go to other places to buy my electronics and movies. more

Geek Squad is the Best!!! 7/9/2005

At this location while I was on vacation my laptop died a unfortunate death, a trojan virus that attacked my hard drive. I took my laptop in the staff was very knowledgable and friendly. Wanted to make sure they could help me and instead of just giving me the same size of a hard drive as previously as I had the laptop repaired. They made sure to upgrade my laptops Hard Drive from 40 GB to 100 GB.. Thanks Best Buy my laptop works better than when I got it at the beginning!!! more

Best Buy- Ann Arbor 5/25/2005

This Best Buy has all the standard features of the national chain including a great selection of any sort of electronic media like TVs, stereos, or computers. They also carry a wide selection of DVDs, CDs, and video games. The store can be somewhat difficult to navigate if you do not know exactly what you are looking for, so it is best to ask one of the numerous staff members for help. They are very knowledgable and eager to help. Best Buy also has an excellent service staff for any problems you might encounter with your purchase. PROS: Wide selection. CONS: more

Overpriced and No One Willing to Help 4/15/2005

Like all electronics chain stores, they have their good points and their bad. This particular location is really on the bad side. I have ventured in only a handful of times, but each time I've come in looking for a particular item and not a single sales rep has offered to help me. I've had to contact a rep every time and their knowledge is pitiful. Except for one time, I have walked out without making a purchase. Also, they need to get rid of the store greeters which hang out at the front doors and make you feel uncomfortable when coming and going. My recommendation, buy online! more
