Lazy and dishonest employees\r \r We were given a time frame for a fridge to be delivered to our apartment. Two hours before the time frame we got a call from the delivery truck driver saying they needed to deliver the fridge right then. We told them we weren't able to be at our home at that time, and so we were told by the delivery drivers that they would not deliver the fridge - because we couldn't get to our place two hours before they told us to be there. We called best buy and they made the delivery men wait until the window. The guys arrived at the scheduled time but were noticeably disgruntled and proceeded to lie to me about the measurements of our stair case (saying it was 29 inches) and refused to deliver the fridge. We called and scheduled a re-delivery and the next guy that came measured the stair case at 34 inches and was able to deliver the fridge just fine. \r \r Basically it seemed like the first delivery guys were only interested in finishing their day early no matter the cost to the customer. And they went so far as to lie to get out of work. \r \r After this experience my husband and I will definitely not be purchasing any more of the electronics we need for our new apartment from best buy. more

Flat Screen warranty 11/7/2008

The warranty on my parents large flat screen plasma t.v. Said that after 3 times trying to repair the t.v.they would replace it. Well its been repaired 5 times and still does not have a picture that you can see. They notified the appropiate people and have been getting the run around ever since. They mailed copies of all the work orders that they asked for and are still getting the run around. Best Buy decided not to replace the t.v. as in the warranty. They sent out a repair company to fix it again. The repair co. refused to remove and reinstall the t.v.. They expect my parents who are in their 70's to lift it off. Wow this is some warranty. more

Nice selection 11/29/2005

This is a great place to shop for electronics. Their prices are fair and competetive. Thier return policy is nice, except it is only good for 30 days after purchase, which is horrible. more

BEST ELECTRONICS STORE ON EARTH! 5/22/2005

Best Buy is my favorite electronics store ever! They always have what I need in stock. They have plenty of informative people around to help you with whatever you need. Their prices are reasonable and they're always up to date with their merchandise. I love DVD Tuesday when DVD's come out and they're on sale. They have a kids area for children and alot of employees who are willing to give you one on one time and help you understand products. They have a huge parking lot, so parking is never a problem. Although, sometimes inside lines at check out are long. more

When your looking for a good deal 5/17/2005

Best Buy is the place to go. Especially if you are looking for a movie that was just released. They have this deal where if you buy it within the first week it is released you can get it for 15 dollars. The staff is very helpful and friendly so don't hesitate to ask for help if you are having trouble locating something. more

As with all Best Buy stores, they have a great selection of computer peripherals, electronics, appliances, etc. and their prices are very competitive. Unfortunately this store like most Best Buy stores has terrible customer service. You can expect to wait 10-30 minutes to get anyone to help you and be prepared to have attempt to force their extended warranties on your half a dozen times before you make it out of the store. I even had one of the security people who checks your merchandise to make sure you didn't steal anything try to push an extended warranty on me AFTER I had already made my purchases (having declined the offer at least 3 times already) and just wanted to get out of the store! Oh, and you can forget about trying to call them to get information about something or find out if it's in stock. The last time I called this store I was on hold for over 30 minutes without having spoken to a live person before I eventually gave up and hung up. Bottom line, good selection, more

Best Buy has a wonderful selection of home appliances and computer needs. The prices are always low and they offer promotions, incentives and rebates. The only thing that keeps them from earning a 'world class' status, in my opinion, is the lack of customer service. It usually is very hard to locate a sales person. Many times, they just walk by without any acknowledgment. more

I've been to several Best Buy stores, and I must say that this particular store is easier to navigate than most. Prices are competitive, and sales can be appealing. These stores all have wide selections of merchandise, and as stated above, the layout of this store is attractive and easy to get about. Only problem I have had dealt with a repair on a CD player, which seemed to take forever to be repaired. Back and forth with the customer service department made this transaction an ordeal. However, no other complaints more
