Bad service and selection 1/9/2012

I have been consistently disappointed with Best Buy. I have gone into the store 3 times in the past 3 weeks to try and buy a Smart Cover for an iPad. At first they had none in stock, and since then they have had only one or two, only in gray. They cannot (they say) tell you when they will get more in, as they don't know what's in a shipment. On the second visit they at least told me the days trucks come in. On the third they told me to call ahead so I could save a trip. So this time I called. The phone rang through for a full minute before anyone answered and then they hung up on me. I called again and pushed the button for the Geek Squad to see if someone would answer that line. It took 45 seconds but someone finally picked up. The young man I tlaked to went to check but seemed not that sure of what I was even asking about, since he didn't know they cam in polyurethane and leather. They still only have two in stock, both gray. Poor selection and rotten customer service. S more

Dont bother trying to call them! 6/1/2011

I have 'Tried"" on numerous occasions to call this store. I have never once been able to get through! I have actually sat and let it ring for over 10 minutes at a time with not one answer! Im digusted! I bought a new refrigerator from them which cost almost 2 grand and now I can't even get through to change the delivery time!!!! Of COURSE, there is no direct line to managment or I would be letting them know how I feel about this BS! Prices are great if you can get someone to help you and answer your calls. more

Horrible 5/18/2011

Horrible, the worst I have ever seen. They installed an alarm on my car with accuators, broke my side mirror, and said it was like that when I arrived. Cost me $230 to replace. Now, the alarm is not working, called 2 days in a row and was on hold for over 30 minutes each day and never spoke to ANYONE. Does anyone monitor their customer service at all? This place is horrible!!!!! Boycott initiated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

Good luck getting anyone to answer the phone. Not to mention when they do finally answer it they just pick up and hang it up. more

I have always been happy with the products I've purchased but trying to get the geek squad to help when you need it is impossible! I told them this morning that they aren't worth the price of the phone call! more

Very Poor customer relations and installation service 12/14/2006

I feel the same way as another writer, they the worst customer sales people. I know what I want when I go in, but the sales clerk, in abundance, are on their phones, chatting with each other, and all they ever do when I get their attention is get the item for me.My wife and I purchased a 50 in Samsung Plasma and the custom install package for an additional 500.00. They assured us they could install it above the fireplace and hide the wires, even if not behind the wall. They did not, and have made no real effort to fix it. They offered and did return 100.00 from the 500.00 custom install, but had I known this would have had my brother help me mount it in the wall, and saved the 400.00. more

Best Buy equals Bad Customer Service 5/25/2005

This particular Best Buy has the worst customer service. The employees that are supposed to know the store and the products they sell, don't. They basically send you on a wild goose chase and you can never find anyone to help you when you need it. When you do find someone to help you they are rude to you and rush you into a decision. I don't shop here anymore because of that. PROS: CONS: Rude, pushy, I don't recommend them at all. more
