Is this a joke? 10/15/2007

The staff in this store is totally ridiculous. They don't know anything seriously it's quite impressive. Especially the computer guys including the geek squad. First they have an attitude and they hate when you question them. One of these guys tried to make believe that I needed to order a $175 power supply for my notebook as the original fried. Even if it's true that my notebook is getting old (over 3 years old) $175 for a power supply of that nature is just crazy. This guy kept telling me that Best Buy was the only place I could order this power supply from. Lies, of course, Battery + did it for $65..... Best Buy, please tell your staff to be truthful a little bit, also these guys should keep the attitude at home when they go to work.... more

Miserable staff. No service. I will never go into this store again and will never ever purchase anything from "Best" Buy. Hopefully, they will just go out of business! more

Last Resort Shopping 11/21/2005

Although I occasionally browse through Best Buy, I would never make a major purchase here. Their prices are average at best. Their staff, unfortunately, seem to know very little about technology so if you have a question, you will most likely be on your own. In fact, my husband and I were misinformed about something we bought there and had to go through the hassle of returning it as a result. Bottom line: shop online for better deals and a more pleasurable experience overall. more

Large selection, questionable service 6/16/2005

It's hard to argue with the selection of CDs, movies, software, audio equipment and computers at Best Buy. Prices aren't always the cheapest, but sales change weekly so the savvy shopper can usually get a better deal by waiting a few weeks. Customer service is hit or miss depending on which employee you encounter. It is often difficult to find help when you actually need it and checkout lines are frequently long and/or slow.
