if you are in business and need a computer do not buy one from them. i purchase 2 labtops from best buy commerical they charged me a 150.00 just to come out and tell me what i needed. charged me $5000.00 for 2 labtops a couple of software and networking 3 computers together. 3 months later 1 harddrive crashed i lost a month of work of which couldnt be retrieved. they couldn t send any one here for weeks so they told me to take it to a store who had to ship it off to kentucky. a week or so later i still don thave it back and you can t get a real person to answer the phone. you just have to go on there website and enter in your service order number which only tells you that they have your computer and it gives you a phone number which only gives you a recording to no where i completely explains to the sales rep. that i wanted a good warranty plan that would replace my system if it crashed at once. they sold me what they call a black tie warranty. you would think that would be the best their is which the only thing that black tie it the cost of what they charged me for it...... i will never buy anythin g from best buy again. debbie gentry dennis truck repair -richmond virginia more

NOT the best buy ...just little options 9/9/2009

Having few options I returned to Best Buy after more than one bad experience. My computer crashed so I went there for a replacement. I spent close to an hour comparing different computers before deciding on a cute DELL on sale at $399.00. The sales rep says they are sold out... and getting no more in. I can understand a sales paper, but why have something displayed days after it's sold out the rep said. So I settled on a computer that was expensive and not what I wanted that will be going back tomorrow. Also I aksed twice about the warranty and still didn't get a clear pirce or what it covered. I will defintely not shop here again. Pros: great selection Cons: advertising items not available more

This is a good store 11/28/2007

They have really good deals. They have wonderful sales and I like to go there. I go to the store and buy alot of memeory cards and different stuffs. They are wondeful as far as how the store is set up. And they are helpful in fineing what you need in the store. They are nice cashiers and the staff that works on the floor.I would recommend that people go to this store and shop. I think that they would like it if they went there and shopped. more

But a few doubts... 9/28/2005

I love Best Buy and I think overall they have a great selection and good prices. I went there recently to look at tv and media furniture - a stand for my bedroom. For how expensive they are... one hundred to three hundred dollars, the quality just doesn't seem that great. The display models were kind of wobbly. I bought one, so we'll see how it holds up. more

Good place to browse electronics 9/7/2005

I like going here to look at appliances, tvs, and video games. They have a good selection of items here, but I find that they are a bit more expensive than Lowes or Sears. I typically dont buy a lot from here because I know I can get a better deal elsewhere and the store gets pretty crowded sometimes. The salespeople are helpful but are sometimes hard to locate due to the large size of the store and the number of customers in it. PROS: Nice selection, great displays CONS: Pricey, sometimes crowded more

Best Buy, Great Pricing..Poor Customer Service 7/27/2005

My husband and I shop at Best Buy a lot. More than we should. However, it wasn't so long again I wouldn't step foot into one of their store. No matter how good the price. We purchased a camcorder many years ago from the Best Buy in the University Area if Charlotte, NC. After having the camera in the shop over 6 times, we decided to file the Lemon Law as allowed per the extended warranty we had purchased at the time the camera was bought. After many phone calls and lots of headaches, we were told the camera had not been sent out of the store enough for repairs to fall under the lemon law. Although we had receipts from every visit showing outside work, this was not good enough. It seems one of the customer repairs gentlemen decided to note on his receipt he did not send it out but did an in store cleaning No one cared about what the receipts we had stated. It was all about what they thought I called the buyer, distant office and home office. I ever called Sony, who agreed with me t more
