I live out in the country, so its a long drive fro me to this location. I have been going to this location for years, but no more...last week was the last straw. Immature, knowledgeable, and unprofessional staff/managers make dealing with this store almost impossible. I have had several returns due to ignorance. Instead of taking the time to make sure you are buying the correct item, they simply tell you it is the correct item, when in fact they are guessing. They also lie. I had one sales person (looked like he was 19) preach to me that the least expensive HDMI cable would definitely not work on my Vizio television. He made it sound like he was some sort of expert. I informed him that any cable deemed to be a true HDMI cable HAD to perform to certain standards. He just shrugged and said ""If you want to waste your money and time coming back when it doesnt work, thats up to you."" Excuse me...since when does a sale person talk to a customer that way? BTW, I bought the cable, and it worked fine...he was just trying to pressure me into buying a higher (marked up) priced cable, and you know the managers are the ones pushing that. And if you do speak to a manager, you get some smart alleck 20 something year old, just looking to throw around their new found power. They too are rude and patronizing. Last week I picked up what I needed, the stood in line behind one guy who was already rung out, while they chatted and talked about some online game. He acted like I wasnt even there. When the other guy did leave, the guy said he was having trouble putting in my rewards info. After 10 minutes, I said ""If there is a problem, you should call somebody who can help"", to which he says ""No...I got it now"" and gave me the total. I informed him that I didnt see the screen where this sale would be applied to my rewards account, and he said he could get that to work on the register, then started this lengthy explanation, on how I would have to go online, bring this page up, confirm my identity, open an account, blah, blah, blah, blah. So I said just forget it. I went to the service desk and asked for a manager, and this real young looking kid comes up and say ""May I help you?"" I asked if he was the manager and he said yes, and I asked how old he was. No, probably not the best thing to do, but he looked real young to me...too young to be a manager, but anyway, he replied ""28, you got a problem with that?"" Are you kidding me?? Like I said, maybe my questioning him was inappropriate, but to respond like that to a customer! I said screw it, and walked out, but not before the ""manager"" could hurl one more insult...he followed me to the door, and shouted ""Have a nice day!"" in a last ditch effort to patronize me. So for those of you still shopping at Best Buy, I would avoid this store like the plague...take the extra 15 minutes, and go to the Morse Rd. branch.
