Best Burrito

As a local, I can say that this is the best restaurant in Harrisonville. We usually order the fajitas, which are reasonably priced and always fresh. We have tried lots of things on the menu and have never been disappointed. Prices are reasonable. The servers are very friendly and remember what we usually order - a touch you don't get too often these days. Finally, a friend who worked in the county health department highly recommended this restaurant as one of the cleanest around. In conclusion, great food, reasonable prices, friendly service and clean...what more could you want? Now that you mention it I wish they served margaritas at this location. Three of us dined in a cozy booth at the Best Burrito. Not knowing what to expect, we learned it was a sit-down restaurant as opposed to a place where you can order at the counter.\r \r While the restaurant building temperature was a little hot on this warm June evening, the friendly staff and food made a great experience. Our party ordered enchiladas and a vegetarian burrito. The guacamole on top of the burrito was a great flavor enhancer, and the enchiladas and rice was quite tasty. One member of our party was glad he ordered the smaller sized enchilada platter.\r \r To top it off, we ordered sopapillas. They were a perfect consistency (fairly light) and not too sweet with honey, and were dolloped harmoniously with whipped cream. In a town that offers few dining options, the Best Burrito is truly a diamond in the rough. The only thing that tops the outstanding food is the even better service. Very proud to have this restuarant in our town (Harrisonville, Mo.) and recently have experienced their new location also in Peculiar, Missouri which is found to be consistent in quality on all levels of friendly service, family atmosphere, and wonderful food at a reasonable price. Encourage everyone to try either location-- you will not be disappointed!! My husband and I are so confident in the quality of food that most generally we simply ask for the staff to simply ""surprise us & pick somthing"" on the menu. The servings our most generous and we split most entrees or simply take the leftovers home to enjoy later at home. Simply stated ""Delicous!"" You may not have room after your main course but the fried ice cream is excellent and will bring a spark of youth to any tastebud regardless of your age. Take someone to share just desert if you dare. Pros: Authenic Mexican menu at a reasonable price no comparison to fast food chains serving American Mexican menu. Cons: May have to wait for table during prime meal times but diffently worth the wait. more
