I took my 2003 Blazer into the dealer (to get some miscellaneous other repairs done that were covered under warranty), who advised me that a simple replacement of rotors would cost approximately $400. When I called around to other mechanics around the area, they gave me quotes between $250-$300. Best did it for only $150! Originally I was told that if I brought it in early (8:30am) it should be done by lunch. When I brought it in that morning they advised they wouldn't get to it until the afternoon. Of course, it was a holiday (Veterans Day) and most people were off work, so I can assume it was busy because of that. Mine was done by 5pm the same day. more

I took my car their after getting 3 other quotes for $1500 worth of "work". It cost me $385.43 at Best. I trust them and would definately use them again. more

I took my vehicle somewhere else and they told me the repairs I needed would cost well over $1,000. They also added that there were other "issues" that needed immediate repair and started rattling off dollar amounts. I told them no, just do what I told you to do. They charged me $60 to take my vehicle for a drive and called it diagnostic testing! The next day, I went to Best and they told me that there was nothing wrong with the part the other place was trying to charge me over $1,000 for. The problem was a $200 repair on a catalytic converter. I almost cried because Best was totally honest with me. They could have charged me for a part I didn't need, but they didn't. Yes, they are busy, but that's because they are honest. The owner is great... couldn't find a nicer person. If you need repairs and want honest, experienced mechanics that won't rip you off, go to Best. more
