Besa's Pizza Pasta & Subs

I love little family owned restaurants that feel are simple and as comfortable as being at home--and this one excels in having that kind, warm feeling with excellent service and fantastic food! My coworkers and I like to go here for lunch and don't mind if at times that we may have to wait a little bit for a seat becuase Besa's is so good and a bit popular among thos who know about Besa's. Al Shala is the owner and always greets everyone with a genuine smile and a warmth of spirit that lights up the room. His staff does a great job and seems happy to work at Besa's also. I haven't had dinner here as I live a long way from here, but work near and enjoy the pizza and pasta very much at lunch time.The food is fresh and handmade and very affordable. You can't every go wrong here. Great food, service, and value will leave you feeling great when you leave , you will be planning your next visit. The pizza and cheese sticks were great. The only thing better was the service! It is icy outside and two other restaurants turned us down for delivery. But, Besa's came through! more

The Owner Al makes it special everytime you come. He is genuinly happy to see each person that walks through the door and has wonderful food. Our family loves the pizza. Pros: Great Pizza and Great Friendly Service Cons: Sometimes waiting required on weekends more

JOE'S IS THE WORST PIZZA I'VE EVER TASTED. I AM FROM NEW YORK. THIS IS NOT WHAT NEW YORK STYLE PIZZA IS SUPPOSED TO TASTE LIKE. THE SERVICE WAS POOR. I HAD TO WAIT QUITE A WHILE TO ACTUALLY GET MY FOOD. LATER, I HAD FOUND A USED TOOTHPICK IN MY CUP. THIS IS HONESTLY THE WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. Pros: much parking space Cons: bathrooms were gross, loud kitchen people, poor service more
