Bertucci's Steak & Seafood

Bertucci's makes the best tortellacci in the state! From the first time we walked in the restaurant the owners greeted us with a smile and gave us wonderful service. We have been patrons at Bertucci's for the last few years and We always feel like we are number one when we walk in the door! The wait staff is fantastic and they cater to our every whim, Not only that the entertainment is a total blast! I mean how ingenious to have an elvis impersonator! and to watch the owner he gets involved with the entertainment and engages the audience! We give Bertucci's of Highwood two thumbs up and five stars! more

Made a reservation for 8 people and we were seated at a crammed table that only sits 6 people. The hostess was not accomodating so she got the owner who proceeded to give us issues because we wouldn't sit at a tiny table. We requested to combine two tables to sit 8 of us and he wouldn't do it, even though the restaurant was empty with plenty of open tables. The owner was very unaccomodating and rude. I eat out all the time and have never ever had an experience like this, it was unreal.\r \r We walked out of the restaurant and will never go back. \r \r Plus, the restaurant looks like it is stuck in the 1980's and smells worst than a fast food restaurant on a bad day. Excellent service! After reading earlier reviews I was reluctant to try this place.\r \r At the request of a cousin, six of us agreed to meet for an early dinner here. The food was good, and both the waitress and manager were low-key friendly. We had two coupons and the waitress figured out which one would save us the most money. We would certainly go here again! I could not agree more with the previous review. I have never been treated so poorly by a wait staff and the manager (or maybe he was the owner) in my life - it was like they were doing US a favor by providing food for us. I have never written a bad review about a restaurant but this place deserves it on so many levels. My husbands steak was about as dry as a steak you would get a place like Fridays or Chilis - ordered medium rare but came out medium well...no attempt to correct the problem. \r I could go on forever but bottom line - don't go here! My husband and I never complain at a restaurant. We view it as an evening out....It was our first and last time ever dining at Bertucci's in Highwood. Our waitress was rude. The hostess/manager/owner? was rude and unhelpful. Our service was terrible. We were there for 45 minutes before we got served our salads, not to mention, two couples sat down after us, ordered and got served their salads before we even ordered! I would not waist my time there. There are many other Italian restaurants in the area that are much more worth it! Cons: Terrible service more
