Very Expert Support! 11/30/2011

We had a short move from the downtown apartment to midtown. We chose Bernard Movers in Oxnard because they were recommended by a friend, and were also the least expensive we found. These guys were fast, courteous, and did everything humanly possible to protect our stuff. We were shocked that the move was completed so quickly. We had minor damage to our bed, so when I pointed it out to them, they offered to pay the entire expense of the repair, well beyond what we should were insured for. The damage was so minor, and really beyond their control, so that I decided to not even pursue it. As we have to move again, we will be using Bernard Movers. more

They're quick as well as professional! 11/30/2011

In the morning of the move I was very nervous. The team of movers was early and also the supervisor of the team spoken with me and explained everything to me and when we finished all the signatures all the boxes were already from my apartment. The team was very fast, efficient and very friendly to suspecting customers like me. I would recommend Bernard Movers to anyone I know. more

I moved my business in Oxnard to a different location. I had many valuables that were very high priced including paintings, sculptures and numerous works of art that were irreplaceable. I had learned about Bernard Movers and decided to call them to obtain an estimate. I was greeted by a very courteous sales representative, who reassured me of Bernard Movers excellent level of service, as I was very nervous with all the expensive items I had to move. Every piece was moved without even a scratch on it. The movers knew exactly how to wrap and pack each item. They were the greatest bunch of guys, and turned what could have been a very stressful experience, into one of the best moving experiences. I will unquestionably be utilising them again for any future moves, and will highly recommend them. more

I did a lot of online investigation into well-rated Oxnard moving companies and known as a number of movers for quotes. Bernard Movers provided the best hourly rate, and I decided to go with them. The 3 movers were on time, very professional, and incredibly helpful. They completed my move to a new studio in lust a few hours, and everything arrived within fine condition. The charge at the end of the move was as decided, although there were a couple additional $10 charges for shrink-wrap for that couch and a bag for that chair. Overall, Bernard Movers made moving day manageable. Five stars and I would definitely recommend them. more

Fast, Efficient, Careful and Respectful. 10/23/2011

I recently hired Bernard Movers to help me with my move. They provided a stressful experience smooth and easy. The first thing that impressed me about Bernard Movers, is that the owner, personally came to my apartment to make the estimate. In all the many years of living in Oxnard and all the moves I've made, it was the first time that the owners has taken the time and care to can even make sure I was being taken care of. The day of my move, the men who came to move me were so wonderful. These were polite and courteous and were extremely careful wonderful my belongings. Not only was the move quick and painless, but the estimate I was given held true after the move. I have already recommended Manor to several of my friends and coworkers and that i will use them myself on my small next move. You really can't go wrong with this company! more

Reliable as well as inexpensive 10/23/2011

It had been my first move, so naturally I have lot and lots of questions, and many types of were answered patiently from the very patient Christi who won my business with the professionalism. Every little detail she gave me and my husband when we conference called about the hourly price and extra price of supplies, was a big help on the road day. We were packed and ready for your movers, and had an easy, surprise free move. Well, no damaging surprises anyway. There were nice ones: they gave me an arrival window of 8:000-10:00am, and arrived on 8:05. That has been a good start and I was glad the afternoon kept going in that direction. These folks were always smiling, even with the super hot day I finished up moving on. Bernard Movers made my move quick and easy. more

Beware. This is a scam. You call Bernard Movers at the published number and you get LA Moving Services. I made the mistake of providing a credit card for a $100 reservation deposit. I canceled the reservation with 9 days notice. They promised a credit, which I never received. They no longer answer the phone, and will not return messages. Every one of their reviews has a 5 star rating, which is also a scam. more

Great Move 7/8/2011

Compared to the other moving companies I have used in the past, Bernard Movers is the best!!! I have moved within Oxnard about 4 times already and this is the only company that has not tried to rip me off! They were friendly, efficient and honest. They even gave me tips on how and what to pack and also suggested what days and times I should move on so I could save money and get the best deal (getting a new apartment is expensive enough). I highly recommend Bernard Movers to anyone in need of a professional moving service. more

Best movers we found! 6/25/2011

My family and I used Bernard Movers movers for the past 10 years. Their packers were and quick and very careful. I used them to pack my 2 bedroom home and I thought it would take them at least 10 hours. They were done in 4 hours with 4 packers. Bernard Movers moving crew and also top notch. Movers were running 15 minutes late and called me to let me know that they were stuck in traffic. When you are packed, they really can pack the van quickly. I highly recommend Bernard Movers movers in Oxnard! more

An excellent moving company 5/14/2011

I had Bernard Movers move me out of my apartment over the weekend. I was in a bind and had to get out ASAP. Landlord problems but that?s for another sight. Called these guys had them pack up my place and there were done in no time. They really hauled it to make my elevator slot. To make a long story short they were extremely professional. Very professional and courteous movers! They stay in communication well via phone and e-mail. I needed emergency moving, and Flat Rate had movers at my door hours after I called. They performed a cross country move in a very short period of time, for an affordable price. I definitely recommend! more

The movers arrived promptly at 9:00am and introduced themselves. They were very professional and detailed with the entire process from start to finish. The guys worked extremely hard making sure everything was carried out. When they moved everything into our new apartment, I was amazed at how easily this worked out. Great service 3/20/2011

That was a great surprise! I never though it would be such a smooth move to my new apartment. I was very excited about moving but was quite stressed. Flat rate managed to work around my schedule and changed the start time a few times until everything worked out between the buildings and my schedule. They even called the building and sent insurance (my building is very strict). I was impressed. I didn't have to worry about anything and that's how it should be. Great service! I highly recommend more

A job well done 3/18/2011

The move went very smoothly to our surprise and the price was the same as we were quoted initially. The movers were courteous and polite. They managed to accomplish this complicated move that involved three different locations efficiently and without any problems. I was also impressed with how well they worked with the doormen at the apartment buildings. I strongly recommend this company to anyone moving. more
