Worst vet in valley 9/14/2010

What a bunch of idiots. My dog has a simple ear infection and they couldn't figure out the solution. The old guy should have retired years ago. The Indian guy is an a hole. If you like wasting money, they're the place to go. more

They are super. The staff is so nice and kind and they don't try to up-sell you on services. They are cost conscious but still very caring and compassionate and they only want the best for your pet. more

Veternatrian Hospital 5/21/2009

Prescription food is very expensive here but the staff is very nice and friendly and will get your food ready for pick up at a later time. Also able to order items that may not be carried at all times in the office. more

Making an appointment was very nice and friendly. Also, a phone called to remind a night before of the appointment. Clean + cute place for pets. Friendly service. Kind ,understanding and very good Doctor. OVERALL = very good !! Pros: thumbs up for everything Cons: nothing from MY visit more

Great Vet 9/23/2008

I didn't originally come here to write a review. Rather, this site just came up in Google when I was searching for the phone number for my Vet. But I just had to register and refute the reviews above. I'm baffled that someone would think that the people there are rude. My experiences have always been warm and positive. In fact, I travel past quite a few vet offices just to get to this place because I appreciate the fact that the Dr. actually takes time to explain things to me. The techs are very sweet and they always remember my Dog by name. Also, I have never been asked for my SSN, nor have I been kept waiting for an appointment. Pros: warm atmosphere, communicative doctor, easy to make an appt. w/o notice. more

horrible staff 4/14/2008

This isn't a true review because I've never actually met the Dr. but his staff is incredibly rude and incompetent! I went there to get flea meds for my dog; they wanted me to fill out an application including my social security number! (Hello! I can get the meds over the 'net or at Petco) I refused to give them my SS# and they made a big stink about it. I had a voucher for 1 free month of Frontline Plus with the purchase of 6 months from the vet and they refused to take it! They also refused to sign the paperwork--I had to go back the next day and try and get them to sign it. They also wanted to take my insurance papers and fax them to insurance themselves and get paid directly! (That's not the way it works--I pay 100%, fax in papers and get reimbursed) Suffice it to say, I never received my free month of meds and the front staff are a bunch of ""know it all's"" who are just office workers--NOT vet techs who dispense their own opinions on everything from medication to operations! (They even bad talk the medications that the Dr. prescibes!) I would never give Dr. Krivoy my time because it would take forever to get to him after the horrible experience with his staff. NO THANK YOU! Pros: cute office Cons: parking, horrible front staff! more

Nice place 2/3/2008

Other hospitals have labeled our cat "vicious" but at Berkley they very easily managed to keep his stress low, which kept him docile. Also, they didn't try to push procedures on us that we didn't need and were very up front about costs. All in all a pleasant experience. more

caring and compassionate 4/28/2006

Dr. Krivoy and his staff are both caring and compassionate towards both the pets and pet owners. I have taken my pets there for over 15 years now. The staff is personable and treats everyone like human beings rather then just the next invoice. Dr. Krivoy has been treating my dogs and cats, and on the rare occassion that something extraordinary had cropped up Dr. Krivoy does not hesitate to refer you on to a specialist. I apopreciate that he is secure enough to tell you to get another look. I trust him and his staff. I moved out of the neighborhood but still drive back the 15 miles to take my pets to him. I just can't find another vet that I am as confortable with to treat my beloved pets. Pros: reasonable rates, compassionate, knowledable Cons: closed for lunch more
