Not only is he competent, he is also very smart, so he can figure things out on the fly. If you are willing to listen & learn, then this is the guy you want doing the inspection / repair / replacement of your HVAC(s). \r 2) I am a technical person, so I take a lot of interest in the maintenance / repair of our home?s appliances, and that means I usually watch so I can learn. Over the course of 2-3 years I?ve watched Tren?s technical approach to HVAC work. He uses the same methodology each time?.one can see the mental wheels clicking through the checkpoints as he goes about his work. I am sure he has discovered a process that works well for him time after time, and he has committed the process to memory. \r 3) Listen carefully to Tren, and you will hear about some of the HVAC pitfalls / traps in which he found himself early in his career. And you will also find out how he has worked around the issues so he doesn?t fall prey to them anymore. Furthermore, he has written how-to documents about some of his ?tricks-of-the-trade? and now the protocols are used company-wide. \r 4) Keep listening and you will discover that Tren is a family man and he spends as much time with them as he can. You will also find out he grew up in a family of 10+ children where honesty, trust, integrity, and hard work were part of the fabric of their lives. Perry has been our go to man for service now for our 3rd year. He is honest, he does his best to inform us of any preventative and up coming maintenance or repairs we can always depend on him. This was for my AC check for the summer coming up. The tech showed up on time - called before he came. He was very friendly. He performed the inside inspection and went outside and washed down the unit. Everything was performed extremely well. I have been a customer for 7 years.? more

I was certainly pleased with the response time for the plumber's arrival. He was professional looking and identified himself right away (the truck helped). He got right to work after I showed him the situation to be dealt with. It was evening when he arrived but there was no complaining or feeling conveyed that our problem didn't matter. Our HVAC technician was very knowledgeable and explained the problems with both of my a/c units and gave the best options to replace the units. Work was completed in a timely manner, which was much appreciated as my parents were visiting from Australia. Follow up was also very thorough. The office staff who advise when a technician is on the way are very personable and appreciated the calls to advise status.? more

Great experience with the Berkeys and my technician. He explained the work that needed to be done thoroughly. Who wants to pay for a new furnace and outdoor unit? But, after his explanation of the problems I was having with my system, I knew I needed to replace the entire system. The installers came in and did a great job, showed me the new unit after completion and explained the work that was completed, cleaned up after themselves. Our heating system had an issue and after trying two different techs that could never find the issue I called Berkeys. They responded the same day and explained what the problem was and ordered my part. The next day they were back as promised and repaired our system. I am now a Berkeys customer!! more
