Bergey's Lincoln Mercury

I am a 10 year customer with the service garage of Bergeys, Broad Street, Lansdale. I saw a vehicle on their lot with a price tag when they were closed. I went back the next day to test drive the vehicle and ascertain numbers for the vehicle that I was trading in. I was presented with the pricing , I questioned the price of the vehicle. They wanted to sell the vehicle for $2620 more than the ticketed price. They said that someone had made a mistake even though the sku numbers matched the vehicle. They consulted with Mr Bergey who told them to make the deal go away. Our salesperson was apologetic and went back to see Mr Bergey again. This time he came back with a take it or leave it attitude. I mentioned that I wanted to pick up my wife and let her see the vehicle before signing. They said that if I left the building the deal was done.I told them where to stick their car! I have worked with this garage for 10 years, is that how you treat your loyal customers Mr Bergey?Do you not value customers or are you too rich already ? more

I purchased a Mountaineer with an extended warranty. In the beginning the service department was extremely helpful, but as I get toward the end of my warranty, they concealed info from me and as I questioned them regarding the issues they flat out lied. They blamed it on the the way the warranty was written and on the computer. I was so upset with them I wrote a letter to both my sales person and service manager. I did not receive a response. At that point I decided never to patron their business again. All I am looking for is being forthright. In my opinion they failed more

There's a reason why Old Forge service is continually rated #1 of 184 dealers - it's called excellence. It's not just that the service advisors are knowledgeable & courteous - it's also because they have they best mechanics. My experiences have been pefect. I am confused when I read the Old Forge Lincoln Mercury service review that was posted here. I have always had good service from them. They were voted #1 in service out of 184 dealers in their area. It sounds to me like this person has a personal problem with the dealership that is probably unfounded. It just makes me mad when people try to hurt companies for no reason. I brought my car in for service a few times. I asked them to fix a few things that were under warranty on my car. They either said nothing was wrong and talked to me like I was an idiot, or they said they fixed it and didn't. It's a waste of time and a hassle dealing with them. One time, they said they fixed a battery light that kept coming on. They pulled the car around and the light was still on! A customer care rep called about our service there. I complained and they didn't apologize or anything! Why call if you don't really care! Pros: Closest dealership Cons: Lousy service more
