Vintage Engament Ring Appraisal 1/19/2013

We bought a ring from an Antique store in NOLA & we wanted to get it appraised for insurance purposes, to see just what the ring was worth. Mr Gordon did a great job of walking us thru the process of appraising the ring & letting us know what he was doing and what it meant. It was one of the most pleasant experiences working with someone on a subject I know nothing about & now I know a little bit about. I highly recommend him for any appraisal that you may have. more

Diamond Necklace Appraisal 1/11/2013

I found Ben Gordon (Jewelry Judge) after a "google search". I was looking for a place that I would be able to watch the appraiser and my jewlery. At the Jewelry Judge I was able to do both. It was an interesting and enlightening experience. I highly recommend Ben Gordon. more

Engagement Ring Appraisal 12/25/2012

I found Ben Gordon by doing a google search online. The appraisal was interesting but I did not learn anything other than what was already on the GIA report for the diamond. It helped me get jewelry insurance for my ring which was why I needed the appraisal in the first place. I did not think the price was worth the information that I got but I did not have a choice since I needed to get this done. more

We were referred to Ben Gordon by a friend. He and his staff spend their time with you, and they're very thorough and very careful with your jewelry. We had a question after our appraisal. Instead of leaving us with the short answer over the phone, Mr. Gordon invited us to come back with the jewelry to take a second look and answer our question in person, so we could have peace of mind and reassurance. Great service! more

I went to Mr. Gordon for a appraisal on a recently purchashed bracelet. This turned out to be a very good experience. I went to Mr. Gordon for an appraisal of my wedding ring for insurance purposes. He is very knowledgable, and the whole process was very interesting. He made sure that I understood every step that we went through. I appreciate the fact that my ring was never out of my sight, and was in and out in less than an hour. Even though I totally overpaid for my diamond, which I bought while on a cruise, Ben walked me through every aspect of the appraisal and really gave us a fair assessment of the value. He really enjoys what he does and is truely there to help you give you the best service you can get. I will use them for every appraisal and jewley recommendation that I will have from now on. more
