Sure they will give you a lot of ideas on how to do crafts and offer many seminars to craftmaking. However, the prices are way too high. Look for the ideas here but I reccomend getting all craft supplies from Fishers Hawaii. Fishers prices are much better. I have rarely gotten a good deal here. more

We shop at the Mapunapuna store 8/20/2005

While I am by no means a "crafty" person.... Well in the art meaning of the word anyway. My wife is very artsy, and she loves the place. We bought all of the glassware for our wedding favors and centerpieces there. They also have all the stuff crafty people like, for instance, modeling clay you can bake, and my wife's favorite "paint pens" which she uses to color plastic storage containers with customized drawings and paintings of characters and kids names. more

Ben Franklin Crafts in Kailua may not be as large as the Mapunapuna flagship, but it somehow manages to cram a variety of supplies in a clean, well-organized shop. The store also has a crafting club and has classes scheduled throughout the month. Prices aren’t the lowest, but about once a month the store runs an insert in the Honolulu Advertiser with sale items and a valuable 40%-off-a-single-item coupon. Be sure to note the date that the coupon is valid – it is typically for the week after the sale promoted in the insert. more
