Dr. Karlburg and his staff are WONDERFUL! We have been taking our animals to them for five years (since we moved here from Chicago). He treats us like family and our dog Sophia cannot wait to get in the door to see everyone there. I have never had a dog that was excited about going to the vet before. When our cat, Morticia was diagnosed with cancer, Dr. Karlburg gave us all the information we needed to make an informed decision (she is doing great by the way) about the surgery. When our cat Mr. Echo started turning yellow in his eyes and paws; I flew over to Dr. Karlburg and he told me that the chances of Mr. Echo surviving liver surgery were slim and that the chances of him having a good quality of life if he did survive were even slimmer. So, he gently put our sweet cat down. It was in January and he said that he would hold Mr. Echo in his freezer until the Sprig thaw so we could bury him.Oh, one more thing, the groomer is top-notch!
