Dr. Belozer is now my primary care physician. When my prior one left, I worked very hard to become her patient. When I was in the hospital and doctors were stumped, she filled in for a day and told me what she thought they should test for and what she felt was going on with me. I had originally thought the same thing, but the tests they did didn't show anything. After hearing her suggestion, I requested the tests she suggested. That was not an option given to me. So, I ultimately was discharged, still very ill and in much pain. I continued to be in severe pain with vomiting for another 3 weeks until they finally did the test she suggested. Bingo--it was what she said it was and they got me in for surgery right away to fix it. Because of that, I trust her and will stick with her as long as she'll stick with me.
