Doc is the best. We have been going to him for 16+years for (3) cats and (1) dog. I would never go to anyone else. He closes is office early on Wed, but last night I stopped there anyway because I seen cars in the parking lot and my dog needed his pills refilled. Come to find out Doc cancelled his own doctor's appointment to help this women with her pet emergency!! And he refilled my pills!!\r He is straight to the point and will help your pet the fasted and painless way possible. Just listen to him, he is the expert. more

I moved to Rockford a few months ago and have been looking for a vet. I heard great things about the Doc and hoped for the best. My dog and cat are part of my family. I read a review here that wasn't as positive so I was initially hesitant but the experience was great. He took his time with both of my babies. He cared about what I had to say as a Mother and listened to me- which never happens with vets or regular doctors. Even though it is a drive for me I am very very happy I did it. He treats me like family and even gave me a discount. I am sorry for whoever had a bad time there- but you need to give him another try. He truly cares for his clients. I haven't found a vet like him in Rockford or Beloit, he cares about us not money. more

I had taken my pet to him years ago and had a very bad experience! So now when my cat needed a vet, instead driving far to our new one, I took him to Dr. Chaudhary after reading these reviews, thinking how he must be good and it was so close to my home. I'll tell you, the experience was so awful that I plan on reporting him. He was impatient with our cat, rough handling him, made me try and hold him on a slippery metal table so I got clawed & bit and still have scars from it. He then took scissors and cut a junk of skin off him and our cat screamed like I have never heard before. The so called doc then gave us medicine for our cat and told us to spray salt water on the open wound. At home, I gave our cat the medicine and he started foaming at the mouth. I don't know what that docs problem is but what he isn't is the great doctor the other reviews wrote about him. After talking to my friend and she heard we went to him, she said ""Oh no, I have heard so many bad things about him! He should be shut down!"" The are much better vets out there! We use Mostly Cats because they treat the pets and owners very gently and lovingly. more

I should have written this long ago. He is very knowledgeble, very good with the animals and always so nice to our family. When another animal damaged our cat's eye, it was a weekend and he called us back immediatly. He operated her eye and she is fine now. When our other cat had poisened himself he said I could take him to an emergency hospital for animals but I prefered his care. He is a no nonesense Dr. he gives you the options and goes with what you want. He gave the cat a 50/50 chance, he kept him overnight and our cat is still alive that was about 2 yrs ago. Also his prices are not outrageous though he is very good and sure could ask for it, and that is a blessing for us. All I can say is that we rather drive longer to see him than go somewhere locally. We can not praise him enough. more

I have gone thru several vets over my years of pet ownership, but ever since I have found Dr. Chaudry I would never recommend another. Like the other person posting here, I agree they treat you like family.. they do. Dr. Chaudry has always been available for my pets emergencies, even when one of my dogs was run over by a car late at night he met us at the office and stayed with her all night and pulled her thru. He is a wonderful vetranarian and person! Pros: too many to mention! Cons: very busy office - but comes with being a good vet more
