Belmont Drive-In Theatre

We had a similar experience w/ Roger...whatever his name is...he is a spineless DB for sure. We went this past summer and arrived right when the gates opened. We pulled up to the closest spot we could up front. Got our stuff out and got comfortable. Made a $20 purchase at the snack bar. You know...we were trying to help the family biz too. I even dropped money in the donation box. So as the lot started getting full, people started parking in front of us in big trucks and vans in places that were not spots, completely blocking our view. So we told mgmt. Spineless Roger came out and did nothing for us. He asked my husband twice to stop raising his voice or he would call the cops. Right in front of our kids! We were completely talking in a normal tone. We were just asking him to ask those vehicles to move and he wouldn't. We had been there for two hours and deserved to have front row spots! These people got there 20 minutes before the movie started. It was so unfair. We realized, the dude doesn't care. He is all about making as much profit as he can. People parking in the grass, blocking other people's view, no problem, they are paying customers. So we're done with this place. We are going to Bessemer City now too. \r \r Oh...I almost forgot to mention that I think their website gave us a computer virus also. FYI. more

This place sucks due to the management...Roger the Parking Lot Douchebag. I arrived at the gate early and was surprised to find it was only $4 to enter. So I gave the attendant $5 knowing it was a family business trying to help in these trying times. I got settle into a spot with my two little kids right next the side of the car and was rudely notified that my the kids had to move to the front of the car and that I had to make room for another spot between the posts. Two cars are supposed to go between the old speaker posts. I asked if I could buy the side spot so we didn't have to move our nice little camp/movie site and immediately Roger The Parking Lot DB got all into a tither and escalated the situation 10 levels. He stated If he heard one more word that I was gone. Now I never raised my voice because my 4 & 6yr olds were listening very intently and there was no need to go any level at all. So I told him he was goofy and then he threatened to call the police. I was thinking...what just happened? I told him to go call the cops. So he went quick to his cell phone from hip to his ear like Wyatt Earp at the OK Corral. Well...I packed the blanket, chairs and kids into the car and motored to the admission shack to get my $4 back and my $1 donation. This place didn't derserve my business. Roger the Parking Lot DB was waiting there and I again stated that he was a...spelling out loud so my kids would not pick up the word ""A-S-S."" Turns out Roger the Parking Lot DB is married to the owner of the Drive-in. A little advise Mrs. Roger...leave Roger the Parking Lot DB in his cage your business might improve. As I was leaving the Drive-in and heading to 85N I passed a police car...I guess he really did call the cops. Wow...Roger the Parking Lot DB is really a Douchebag. So...we drove to Bessemer City Drive-in and had a ball. It is a much better facility plus there was no rust streaks on the movie screen. And...No Parking Lot Db(s). So if you see Roger...give him a big kiss for me. I'm eating popcorn at Bessemer City Drive-in Signed...
