Belle Ame Salon

Went to get my hair highlighted for the first time ever. I made an appointment for 10 am on a Saturday and wasn't finished until 3pm. As a result I spent $175.00 and my hair was burned really bad. The good thing is the highlights have lasted for several months but so has the damage. I have spent tons of money for different types of conditioners so I can comb through my hair. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. more

Tracy has always done a great job on cutting my hair, and I'm a guy. No unwanted attempts at ""latest fashion"" styling, but simply a good, clean cut done in a timely, but not rushed, manner. The service and cuts are easily on a par with one of the more expensive salons in Dallas. Plus, they offer you a beverage of your choice - what more can you ask for?! I highly recommend Belle Ame. Pros: Ambience is professional and comfortable, with extra touches such as free beverages offered. Cons: This is a popular salon for all the reasons listed - so be sure to book well in advance! more

The stylist that I see at Belle Ame is great, but that's where it ends. I've had a standing manicure/pedicure appt since late April for the end of May. The nail tech has decided she will be out of town that day and is canceling on me. They asked if I wanted to reschedule...ok this is for my wedding so naturally I don't want to reschedule for nails for any day other than that Friday or Saturday morning. So...I guess now I will be going elsewhere. The wait is all horrific there. They usually seem to be running behind 10 or 15 minutes even if you are the first appointment of the day! more

I love Belle Ame! It was recommended by a friend and I have to say Angie T. is the best hair dresser that I have ever had. She knows all types of hair! We have tons of elite salons in East Memphis around my house and I have tried many of them. I will drive to Cordova through all of the nasty traffic just to get my hair cut in this salon. I pay around $50 for a wash/cut/style but when you get a cut as good as Angie gives, it is worth every dime I spend! Make sure you call ahead. Most likely you are not going to get in if you call last minute.\r \r The decor is hip and just walking in the door, it feels like these people know style. All of the girls in there are beautiful and always have gorgeous hair. Don't be intimidated by their gorgeous looks though, they are all sweet girls!
