Holey Toledo, what a burger! As a religious connosieur of fine dining in Houston, a man with a patty-palate, the simple claim that Bellaire Broiler Burger is a ""good"" ""reasonably-priced"" establishment fails to pass the mustard. Their food, after all, is divinely tasty... could the Quaids ever be wrong about blue-collar dishes?
The decor, you say? Well, if you're a consumer who actually needs clean tables and attractive wait-staff to enjoy an eating experience, stick with La Madeleine... we don't want you at The Broiler. You would ruin our view.
This restaurant is one of a dying breed. In a world of fast food franchises, cookie-cutter suburban corporate diners, and bland, pseudo-upscale restaurants, Bellaire Broiler Burger is a beacon in the evening for anyone with the good sense to buck the present and live in Houston's urban gustatorial past.
Personally, I'd rank it number one.
