I stopped into this little shop after meeting a girlfriend at my new favorite restaurant, Scratch. (Please see my review for Scratch as well.) It is a tiny little store, but jam-...

Best Gift Store in all of Portland Area! 2/16/2010

Evidently this store moved from another location in Lake Oswego. Unfortunately I was unaware of them before, but I am thrilled to have found them now! more

Good place for unusual gifts 5/20/2009

A friend told me to go here and she was right. Lots of very unusual things. I needed a housewarming gift for some people I don't know well and they helped me pick out something, wrapped it beautifully, and the gift was quite a success. Pros: lots of stuff to look at Cons: lots of stuff to look at more

Bellagio gift certificates graciously accepted! 2/28/2007

I've been shopping at Bellagio for years and thought it time to finally write a review of their store. Bellagio is the place I go on a grey Oregon day to lift my spirits. It's bright colors and warm atmosphere lift my spirits. The sales associates are friendly and warm as well. They are there to answer any questions but respect my need to just browse and inhale all that is Bellagio. There is always different music playing but it is always fabulous whether it is classical, opera, techno or jazz. Candles are always burning and contribute to the warm atmosphere. The displays are rich and inviting and beckon me to stay. I have purchased many pieces from Bellagio over the years and they remain some of my favorite items in my home. My entire entry way is comprised of Bellagio purchases, a wood entry table with gold accents, a pair of contemporay buffet lamps with glass shades and a spectacular 4' high floral arrangement. It is the first space people see when they enter my home and I want them to have a little bit of that same feeling I have when I visit Bellagio. Bellagio gift certicates have become my favorite present to give (and receive). Pros: friendly help, warm, beautiful more

Impressive 2/23/2007

I was at a luncheon at a friend's home and admiring her beautiful home. She just had it redesigned by Bellagio Interiors. Her reply to everything I commented on was, ""Oh, that is from Bellagio"" or ""Bellagio Interiors did that."" The other women at the luncheon were also talking about purchases they had made at Bellagio. I knew right away that I had to check out this place. I got the address from my friend and went there straight after the luncheon. Upon walking in the doors I immediately found something I had to have. I was completely inspired and by the following week had hired Bellagio to help me redesign my living room and master bedroom. I have never been happier with my own home. Upon completion I hosted a ladies luncheon and all the women were now showering me with the comments about how beautiful everything was. It was my turn to reply with, ""Oh, that is from Bellagio"" and ""Bellagio Interiors did that."" Thank you Bellagio Interiors! more

A Great Find 2/22/2007

It's a little tucked away but worth the search. This place is amazing. I do not even know how to describe it. Visiting this store is more of an ""experience"" than anything else. Walking through the front doors I was enveloped with rich colors, yummy textures, sparkles... it was an ambience I've never experienced. Fabulously scented candles were burning throughout. Incredible senuous music was playing. The merchandise is displayed in such a way that I wanted to buy entire vignettes because I could not picture one single piece without the company it was in. I cannot wait to come back with my girlfriends to show off my latest discovery. Pros: off the beaten path Cons: off the beaten path more

Feast for the Senses 2/22/2007

My wife often drags me shpping with her and I am always a reluctant participant except when she takes me to Bellagio. Sherry will flit around and look at whatever interests her but there is definitely enough to interest me too. This place is like a museum. There are one-of-a-kind treasures tucked in throughout the place. It is architecturally intersting. There is everything to Zebra hides and African mounts to oversized model ships, antique pipes, corkscrews, knives, ashtrays and other guy stuff. Sometimes they even sample food and champagne there. more

Best candles in Portland 2/22/2007

I am a candle freak and very picky about the candles I will buy. I have a few favorite brands that I always bought when I'd travel to Seattle but now I found them here in Portland at Bellagio. They even have some candle lines I'd never heard of. The women that work here are very enthusiastic about there candles and will have fun helping you select a scent. Pros: variety more

Counter Culture 2/21/2007

Three words.. ""I Love Bellagio!"" I travel all over to find accessories for my home but now that I've found Bellagio I do not need to leave Portland. There is nothing run-of-the-mill here. These people are not afraid to be over the top! I love the drama of the whole experience.. One would expect to see this place on Robertson Blvd. or El Paseo Dr. but it is refreshing that it is right here in Portland. more

All Things Italian 2/21/2007

I spent two years living in Italy and moving back to the states I really missed the culture and beauty of Italy. I found a little piece of Italy at Bellagio Interiors in Lake Oswego. I spotted a carved alabastar lamp in their front window that was exactly like one I had in Italy but had to leave behind. I went inside to check it out and purchased it immediately but was pleasantly surprised to find many Italian lamps, lighting and artwork. I felt like I was in Italy again. Ornate gold-leaf chandeliers, gilt mirrors everywhere and beautifully carved alabaster and marble. Heavenly Italy right here in Lake Oswego! From the red and gold banners in their front windows to the Carnivale jester perched high in the store, Italy was everywhere in this store. Now I have a little retreat when I get homesick for Italy. My purchase from Bellagio are helping me turn my northwest home into my own little Italian villa. Bellagio should be visited for the cultural experience alone. Pros: Real Italian decor! more

Like Walking Into a Magazine 2/21/2007

My two favorite magazines in the world are Southern Living and Verandah. I can turn to any page in either of those publications and love what I see. When I walk into Bellagio Interiors I feel that I am walking into a magazine. This store stands out in Oregon. The style in here is not your average Pottery Barn look. The style is timeless and elegant. They mix old-world with contemporary and have incredible unique pieces. Talk about inspiration to get started on the home makeover I've been talking about for years. Bellagio is where I go for ideas and to find those pieces to make my house my own version of Southern Living or Veranda. The owner is very helpful too and encouraged me to bring in pictures of this niche I was trying to fill. Upon seeing my pictures she recommended this fabulous floral arrangement that ended up being exactly the thing to fill that space. It is the most complmented object in my entire home. more

Hidden Treasure 2/21/2007

Recently while stopping for a cup of coffee in Lake Oswego, I came acroos a beautiful store tucked in next to the Starbucks on McVey. I walked in not really knowing what the store was but was overwhelmed when I walked in. Bellagio Interiors is a home decor store but so different from anything I've ever seen before. My first impression was ""wow, this place looks expensive!"" but as I explored I found a lot of beautiful things that I, a college student, could afford. There are lamps and flower arrangements, really beautiful art work and some neat antiques. I bought a bunch of these really cool candles that smell amazing! This place was kind of tucked away but I think everyone should find it and check it out. Pros: ambiance, merchandise more

Venetian Jewel Box 3/21/2005

From the second you step foot in this store you are engulfed in rich colors, exotic scents, incredible music. Sparkle and shimmer surround you. A surprise is around every corner. There is nothing in this store that is not fabulous. Pros: Unique, Exotic, Rich more

Nothing else like it in Portland 3/21/2005

This store is so beautiful. I love that it is so unique and one-of-a-kind. There is a strong European influence but an eclectic mix of antiques and contemporary. Sales people are always friendly and helpful. I have never been to another store that compares except in L.A. and in London. Pros: Eclectic, Good Music/Ambiance, one-of-a-kind Cons: Out of the Way more
