As CATLIEN proceeded though the treatment and was sectioning my hair, she was clearly having trouble. She would catch strands from another part of my head and pull them by accident into the area was working with. It really hurt and she seems frustrated and annoyed. At one point another colleague actually had to come and help and gave her suggestions and told the amount of time to leave the product in my hair (!) Why didn't she already know this? Was this her first time? She worked on for a couple more minutes and then said it needed to process for 5 mins. I actually timed it on my i-phone and she was back in 3 1/2 minutes and continued to work. CATLIEN was rough when she blew out my hair, and I had to move my ear away from the heat several times because it was too hot. She seemed annoyed. All the while I am trying to be nice and not come across like I was really concerned. She did not even try to be nice. Finally half way through the flat ironing someone else came and took over. No one asked me if it was ok or explained why. They just did it. When I was finished and paying, the receptionist reminded my that gratuity was not included in the bill. (Meaning that she was reminding me to leave a tip). I actually looked around to see if Candid Camera was filming this. It was unbelievable. I will never go back. I feel so ripped off I am mad. I am going to another salon to have my mistake fixed. more

Bella Sirena - Been going for YEARS! :) 1/20/2010

I ***HAD*** to write a review because I Googled Bella Sirena today to get their phone number to schedule my regular appointment and I saw a bad review. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!? I have been having Holly B. from Bella Sirena cut and color my hair for the past few years. Every experience with Holly at Bella Sirena is wonderful! They have excellent Aveda products that leave me feeling calm (I guess Aromatherapy actually works!). The salon owner, Julie, is great! Everyone is very accommodating. The prices are fair - and they even do Happy Hour (discount services) sometimes! The salon is clean....nothing like you would see on that Tabitha show on Bravo. I love Bella. 'Nuff said.? Pros: excellent service, fun staff, Aveda products Cons: NONE! more

I am very OCD when it comes to my hair, as many other women are in this world, so when it comes to trying out a new salon the idea can be nerve racking. more

Bad highlites 12/29/2009

I walked out of the salon with highlites that already looked grown out. I made an appointment to fix them with the owner and she only did the top pieces so the new part was a lot brighter then the other. Took a lot of money to get back to normal at a different salon! Not going back! more

Great Experience 3/26/2008

You know when you go to a new salon and you're nervous about how your hair will turn out? You wonder if the sylist is really listening to what you want. My experience at Bella Sirena was amazing! From the moment I walked in the front door I felt pampered and they made me feel at ease. My consultation with Holly went so well that I put my trust in her to color and cut my hair to match the style I described. Pros: They know their stuff. more

Breanne is awesome for highlights 7/12/2007

I love my new highlights. I told her that I had redish skin tones and some blondes really bring that out. She found the perfect match of blond and carmel. It's more blonde then I ever have had and I absouolutely love it. My husband loves it more. Very hot. The best part I was in and out of there in a hour in and a half, styled and everything. She was awesome I will be going back to her again. She says they do allot of highlights I imagine that is why she is so fast and excellent. The cost was right around a 100$ with tax, make sure you print the 10% off coupon. more

Feels like home 7/6/2007

It was my first time into Bella Sirena and everyone treated me like family. The salon is small enough the employees all call you by name and large enough to meet all your accomidations! I left with my hair looking amazing. Even more importantly...I could style it at home and it still looked amazing. The girls are all amazing! Go See any one of them for a great new look! Holly is Hot! 5/18/2007

With an upcoming trip to Ireland, a quick review of my hair and I knew I needed to get my roots done before setting foot on the Emerald Isle. I made an appointment for foil highlights with Holly, but when I walked in for the appointment, I checked to see if she had time for a haircut, also (I arrived early just in case). She did and my hair has never looked better! Holly is young and hip but wise with the scissors. I told her I didn't want to look like a politician's wife and I don't! I went from too blonde to a nice, warm caramel color (I had her condition it also, good idea after color). And the hair cut is sassy and fun and I can't wait to wear it on my trip. She also recommended a great little place for lunch, Sasis Cafe, close to Bella SIrena. A Swiss chef owns it with his wife, and his tomato bisque is absolutely the best. So I'll be back in six weeks for another cut with Holly. Plus, Kirkland is fun (the new Heathman Hotel is opening in July). PS: The salon setting is spacious and zen-like and the staff genuinely friendly. Pros: All thumbs up. Cons: No thumbs down. more

Holly is great!! 10/6/2006

I went to Bella Sirena to get a haircut and saw Holly. Right away she made me feel very comfortable and could trust her with my hair. I was surprised to hear all the things she could tell from my hair. The conversation was great. It felt as though time just flew by and then had this amazing new haircut. She talked to me about products and how to use them, but didn't make me feel pressure at all. I will definitely go back to Holly again. Pros: Loved the conversation and feel of the salon more
