This restaurant is just a local version of the 'hill' - a fantastic addition to Edwardsville dining. The cuisine here is 'true' Italian - very oily and rich - but also VERY good....

This restaurant is just a local version of the 'hill' - a fantastic addition to Edwardsville dining. The cuisine here is 'true' Italian - very oily and rich - but also VERY good. Everything is also moderately priced - $10 lunches, $12-$20 dinners. The atmostphere is also incredibly nice; it is a brand new facility with a modern decor that still feels cozy. I wouldn't exactly call it 'family friendly' but I am very picky about where we take our daughter - but a great choice for an 'adults only' evening. more

Truly, a Taste of the Hill... 4/7/2006

For those familiar with the wonderful Italian food available on the "Hill" in St. Louis...Bella Milano is a great 'copycat' restaurant. The facility itself is charming and intimate, and the food is 'true' Italian. It is a refreshing change from other chain Italian restaurants....great lunch specials available, though you will need more than the typical lunch 'hour' to get in and out. Definitely a favorite.... more
