Matt H was the tech that came out to perform the tune up on my heating unit. He was extremely pleasant and proceeded to perform the service. While doing the service he discovered that the 2nd stage of the heating unit was not working. He proceeded to just go ahead and fix it. He made sure the input and output temperatures were at the proper levels as well. He probably spent over 2 1/2 hours at my house. My unit will now work the way it was intended and much more efficiently thanks to Matt. He is an excellent technician and bell brothers is fortunate to have him on their team. Oh and there was NO CHARGE! It was included in the tune-up plan I signed up for which was minimal. Bell Brothers trains their people extremely well and I would recommend this company to all. A great company with great people. more

Great service and very professional 10/26/2012

We have the Elite maintenance contract and Bell Brothers services our A/C Heating unit twice a year. The maintenance tech's are also very nice and professional. Jason did a very good job, quick but very professional. more

I am a VIP member, which means I get my Air Conditioner serviced in the spring and my Heater serviced in the fall. The company calls me to schedule the appointments, I don't need to remember. This week Seth A. serviced my heater. He was thorough and explained everything to me. He cleaned and examined my heater. He was polite and answered all my questions. I definitely recommend this company. more

LeRoy Suko has been servicing your system for as long as I can remember, his warm and gentle nature makes his visit like a member of the family has come for a visit. LeRoy thoroughly checks out our system from the box to the unit on the roof of our house. We've often made alternate arrangements when LeRoy is unavailable since I don't like ""strangers"" in my house.\r \r All in all on the day LeRoy retires is the day the Katsumata's will need to assess whether or not Bell Brothers will be our service provider\r more

He seemed very knowledgible in his field. Trevor didn't make me feel stupid with some of the questions I asked. He explained everything simply so I could understand. But what impressed me the most was that he didn't pressure me into anything or into any service I didn't need. Plus I didn't feel rushed like he was waiting to get to his next job. Making a customer feel like they are important is the best quality of a company and Trevor did just that! more

Saturday, June 16, 2 pm -- it was 102 degrees in Orangevale and the temperature was climbing to 105. Our AC was out. We called Bell Brothers. They could come out Monday. The dogs were panting and my 18 year old cat was already showing signs of distress, I doubted she would make it until Monday. I didn't know what to do. Mark Bell arrived at our house on Sunday morning, Father's Day. He fixed the AC and gave us a lot of pointers that will help us in the future. Mark Bell is why Bell Brothers is a great company to do business with -- customer service, professionalism, knowledge and experience. Thank you Mark Bell, thank you Bell Brothers. We will be with you for a long time. more

Anthony (the technician) came out and was very professional while doing the 'tune up' of our HVAC for $87/unit. He was very thourough but when he brought me the capacitors for both of the units he said that they weren't performing up to specs. Then he mentioned that the replacement part was $72 each. Now this is a GE part serial #97F5707 and 97F9002 (for the larger unit), which it turns out can be bought online (new) for $6-11. The labor was already paid for in the service so I find charging 10x what I can get the part for myself is very exorbitant. This kind of ""churning"" is so common when a company is presenting a ""value preventative maintainence service"". Bell Bros, I thought you might be above that but I guess not. Sorry, but I need to give you a D- for this RIP OFF! more

Great Customer Service 5/13/2012

Six years after we purchased our HVAC unit from Bell Brothers, we called on a holiday Sunday after a problem with the fan. They researched their records, informed us that we were still covered under warranty and were at our home within two hours to fix the minor problem. Gene H was on time, professional and courteous. Outstanding Service 4/28/2012

The service provided by Ed, the technician from Bell Bros. was outstanding. He phoned half an hour before arrival so we did not have to wait. He arrived on time, and was very knowledgeable and efficient. He quickly diagnosed why our air conditioning system was not working properly and made the required adjustments. Also, he was very helpful in providing tips for the system to work more efficiently. HIs explanations were clear and concise. He was able to tell us up front the approximate cost of the service. What's more, the company accepted a discount offer that had expired! We will recommend Bell Bros. to our friends and from now on, this is the only company we will call in the future to service our HVAC. more
