I?ve used Bell Alterations for many years since I lived in the neighborhood.\r \r I?ve had repairs, alterations and dress redesigns done there over the years and I?ve always walked away satisfied. If there was ever something not quite to my liking, they were more than willing to correct and/or improve my desires.\r \r I moved away eventually, but always returned to them when I wanted good, fast and efficient service. It?s these qualities that, in my opinion, make this shop stand out above the rest of its kind. I had a bridesmaid dress altered here because the ad says they specialize in bridal parties however the dress turned out terrible. I was even more alarmed because I called ahead to ask how long bridesmaids dress alteration took and they said one week. When I scheduled an appointment, had a fitting, and they said two weeks I said fine thinking they were busy. My mistake not to follow-up. I got a call the day I was supposed to pick up the finished product and they called to tell me there were problems. The store is closed on Mondays and I was leaving on Wednesday to attend the wedding. The alterations were above market value and the quality wasn't worth the price. I will not go back even for a pants hemming after that awful experience. more
