Bel Lago Waterfront Dining

Went there with some friends from out of town, excited to try something new. After being seatd our waitress came and introduced herself and took our drink order. After that first inital contract we only saw her 2 other times. Once to bring our drink orders, which when she was at the table we asked for some lemons for our water (which we had originally asked for) and some silverware, since our appetizer made it out to us before she got us our drinks. ""ok"" was her respond and we didn't see her again until she brought us our check. Had to ask the busy boy to bring us silverware. Never got the lemons. And the whole time we attempted to get her attention, becasue she was just talking in a corner. On top of that the food wasn't anything special, and the portions for the cost was extremely small. This place is hugely over priced. I think they should have spent more money on creating better food dishes than decorating the restaurant, oh and employing poliet and attentive staff. You'd be hard pressed to find another place like this in town. Reminds me of Scotty's Landing in Miami or some places north of St. Augustine on the sleepy Atlantic coast of Florida. What's sad is that though the menu looks fabulous, the final product reflects a very deliberate effort to reduce food cost with smaller than typical portions on some items (calamari), poor quality ingredients (penne with chorizo and andouille), or poor culinary finishing (the brie pizza).
