This place is so amazing. When I went, they were busy, yet there was still at least someone around to answer a question for you. I know this sounds silly but... before I went here, I didn't know what size EXACTLY I was in a bra. I just never really paid attention. So I went in and I said that, feeling awkward (because I'm 22, I should know right?) and the owner said ""That isn't silly at all! You're one of the smart 22 year olds, dear. Come on, we'll get you set up."" And I know it was just a couple of words but after that, I really didn't feel awkward anymore. BTW, having the PERFECT fitting bra is AMAZING. I look taller. :D Anyway, if she wasn't around (she's the owner, everyone wants to talk to her), there was an employee within ear's reach that could answer one of my many questions. The girl who helped me out the most (besides Brenda, the owner) was a girl named Jennifer. Very friendly girl. Now, if you're SHY then you might want to bring someone along to support you because when they fit you, you're...well...topless. lol. BUT they are very professional about it, they won't judge you, they are there to get the perfect bra for you. For example, they just so happen to NOT have my size in a pretty bra I wanted, so she said it was no problem to order it and get it shipped. Well, I live in Pontiac and explained that I don't come to Bloomington everyday and she said that was no problem, she would have it shipped to my house. I can't wait to get my bra in the mail! ;D It's a very great place, I can't wait to go back! You should at least check it out and make up your mind about it. more

I have lived in the Bloomington area since 1984, and have felt very prudish about shopping in a store attached to or affiliated with an adult bookstore. I am so glad I finally got over this hangup! When I started exercising while still wearing a size 24, I needed a sports bra, and Bedtime Botique kept coming up as the only place go. I received great service. My needs were discussed, and I was measured in the dressing room. A variety of bras were brought to me which I was given privacy to try on, then the employee came in to talk to me about the fit. For exercise bras, she even left me alone to do a few jumping jacks for each style and size. Although the bras I needed were quite pricey (over $50 each), they fit amazingly well, and for the first time in FOREVER I don't bounce all over. I can't say enough about the wonderful knowledgeable employees. And, I must say, there was really nothing in the store to make a fairly conservative middle aged woman uncomfortable! I wish I had gone there years ago. Thanks to my supportive bra, I have been able to exercise off many pounds, as well! :) more

My wife and I have been going to Bedtime Boutique for the last 6 years and have yet to have a bad experience. Even when the shop is packed, the staff seems to go out of their way to give everyone possible the best experience they can. My wife wears difficult to shop for sizes, and yes, to the above reviewer, she is larger than a 14, and has never been treated with anything but the deepest respect within this shop. That being said, we did bring a friend of ours to down on our last trip, and she was uncomfortable with receiving as much service as she got with relation to her bra shopping, and ended up leaving without a purchase. If you are not comfortable with a professional helping to ensure you are wearing the clothing properly, this may not be the experience for you. DO NOT waste your time driving to this store. the owner is a total BITCH. My best friend and i drove from Peoria (she lives in Moline) to go to this store. I know i am a big woman (reason for going to this store) I am a size 24. SO i went in and found a corset that i liked in a 2x and a nighty in a 3x. WELL when i went to the dressing room, she said i may need to help you get into these cause i dont think they will go around you. WELL LADY -- a CORSET laces up for a reason, and is SUPPOSE to be tight. my Best friend proceeded to not buy anything in that store, and when we told her she was rude, she said well she didnt want me ripping her merchandise. WELL if i would have ripped it, i would have BOUGHT IT -- I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS STORE AGAIN, and i hope that anyone over a size 14 doesnt either. YES she says she has things for bigger women, ONLY BRA's, and the sexxi stuff she does have in bigger sizes are things that SHE or my grandma would wear. I HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR OVER 20 YEARS AND WE HAVE OVER 7000 BRA CUSTOMERS SO I AM SORRY FOR YOUR EXPERIENCE AND IF YOU COME BACK AND ASK FOR BRENDA I WILL MAKE IT RIGHT. more

I've only heard great things about this store, so I took the risk, and made the 45minute drive today. BIG MISTAKE!!! The sales woman was completely RUDE!! And, it wasn't just me that felt that way, as I had taken a friend for moral support...Not only did the sales woman yack on the phone half the time I was there (doing inventory or something?)...but she also snapped at me when I had to 'help myself' in finding another size (AFTER SHE WAVED HER ARM, when I asked directions to more choices/options...I guess I was interupting her busy leaning on the counter, yacking on the phone mode!!). Finally, and this was the last straw, she actually said...""well, i guess we just don't have anything that fits YOUR size""...Ouch! That really hurt my feelings. I realize that a 36H isn't easy to fit, but you don't need to make me feel like a freak show! Thanks for your GREAT customer care, BedTime Boutique! NOT!!!!!! This store was great. Worth the drive. I can never find a bra that fits correctly and after being meassured I found out I was wearing the wrong size by quite a bit. It was amazing at the difference the right size made. I also needed swimming suits for a vacation and I was so pleased to find them in the cup sizes I needed. Everyone there was very freindly. I have recommened to several of my friends already. Pros: Getting correctly measured - great selection more

A fantastic store with fantastic sales staff! My first trip was a month ago with my oldest daughter. Phone calls a couple of days in advance gave us good driving directions and made us feel comfortable that we'd be taken care of. Upon our arrival, not only were all the employees friendly and helpful but the fitting was incredible (my daughter and I have had problems for years getting bras to fit in our sizes). We were not rushed in any way; it was a very relaxing and educational experience. Today, I returned with my youngest daughter and it was just as great as the first time. You owe it to yourself to take the time to visit this store! Pros: great hours for working folks, helpful staff Cons: a long distance from home (but I do enjoy the drive) more

The ladies that work there are rude. When I first walked in, I got the feeling like I didn't belong. \r \r The worker also tried to tell me I was wearing wrong bra size.
