Call Today to Make an Appointment!
Bedford Physical Therapy has been serving the community since 2001. The facility is under the direction of Neil Nieckarz, Physical Therapist. We offer 3,500 square feet of well equipped space, extended hours Monday through Friday and excellent staff to patient ratios. It is our goal to schedule your initial evaluation within 24 hours of your call. No other physical therapy provider in the state accepts more insurances. Services: Our professional staff is licensed and participates in mandatory continuing education that exceeds the requirements of Medicare and the State of Michigan. Our facilities are clean, well-equipped and conveniently located. We have accessible parking just a few short steps from the door. We have before and after work and school appointments. We offer No Waiting to be scheduled. We provide assistance with your insurance benefit questions. What to expect: During your first appointment your therapist will evaluate your individual needs and condition. Your specific treatment plan will be reviewed with you by your physician and case manager. It may be modified as needed throughout the course of your treatment to promote safe, appropriate recovery based upon your progress. Every individual responds differently to injury and treatment. Many factors can affect your ability to improve. These factors include general health, surgical protocols and your compliance with scheduled treatment sessions. Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy are active processes, which require patient effort as well as participation at home. Lifestyle changes may be necessary to maximize your potential to remain active and pain free or to minimize re-occurrence. Beyond Exercise: Most injuries result in painful conditions, which can reduce your ability to meet the demands of daily life. Therapy can help to manage or eliminate your pain and the exercise program you receive will make you stronger. Good therapy goes beyond these fundamentals to enhance balance, flexibility, motor control and safety. Your program may include manual therapy to restore lost mobility of joints and soft tissues. The most important component to your rehabilitation program is patient education because our goal is Not just to treat your condition. We look forward to remaining a continuing resource as you return to the activities you enjoy as well as living a safe and active life. In a constant effort to keep up with the changing health care environment, Bedford Physical Therapy continues to strive to provide value to its clients. Our fee schedule is comparative with the State of Michigan Worker’s Compensation reimbursement rates. We are certified to participate with Medicare and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan and we are currently applying to participate or already participate with most of the major managed care providers in Michigan. New patients are always welcome and after a thorough pre-admission screening are made aware of their specific insurance coverage and out-of-pocket responsibility. Because we want our patients to be as comfortable and knowledgeable as possible about their rehabilitation, this is all done prior to the onset of treatment.
