Fancy French 4/17/2006

This resturant is one of the most well known resturants in Philadelphia. They are well known for their delicious meals, fanastic deserts and the friendly servers. This place is a fancy returant serving top of the line food that is rather expensive. The staff is very friendly and the parking is convenient. However, expect to pay A LOT and get very small portions. Nice for special occasions only or if trying to impress someone! more

Electic work 12/5/2005

This place has one of the best electrical technicians. I was looking to get some electric work done in my apatment before the holidays and was short on my budget too. I was glad that I visites Barry Fisher. they are good at what they do and also answer all your questions as to what and why some things need to be done. They worked really quick and finishe doff the work in a couple of days. more

Amazing food - pretentious atmosphere 9/17/2005

Le Bec FIn is consistently ranked among the best restaurants in the whole country and for good reason because the food is absolutely amazing but make sure you have a reservation way in advance for dinner because it isusually very busy. This is place is not cheap by any means (be prepared to drop some serious cash) but the dessert cart is all you can eat. The atmosphere is a little too pretentious for me but the waitstaff is extremely attentive. more

Very, very fancy 9/17/2005

I finally got to go to Le Bec Fin, and I'm feeling ambivalent about it. As someone who's never been to a fine dining french restaurant before, I'm not sure if I'm the intended audience of this place. First, the food, while beautiful to look at was not that wonderful. Second, the sheer volume of silverware was confusing. Third, the constant hovering of tuxedo-clad waitstaff was uncomfortable and intimidating. I never relaxed once during my meal. The dessert cart was lovely, so that's a good thing. I'm glad I tried it, but I won't be going back. I'm just not highbrow enough, I think more
