Excellent staff and Excellent customer service! My husband needed a part for his ATV and Beaverton Motorcycles was the only local place that had this part in stock! I called them at 5:45 p.m. (They closed at 6:00) and they stayed open until 6:30 so that we could drive there (from Vancouver) and pick it up. It was pretty awesome of them to stay open 30 minutes after closing, just for us! Beaverton Motorcycles went above and beyond on this one! Thank you so much, Beaverton Motorcycles! We truly appreciated all that you did for us! more

Never Buy Bob 3/1/2011

Never Buy Bob Again! Took our 95 and 96 Yamaha wave runners in for service. gave them a carb rebuilt kit purchased from vendor in Hood River. they opened one of the kits and discovered it was the wrong part. I was able to return the un-opened kit to HR vendor, but not the one they opened. It was my fault to give the wrong part, their fault to open it when the numbers on the box demonstrated it was not the right part. one of their techs admitted they should have known. the service manager, Paul made it clear I was not his customer. I was a problem and pain in his day. It was heavy handed, unprofessional and rude. there was no attempt to see if parts could take the part back at cost, no attempt to do anything to keep a loyal, 25-year customer! the GM, Jerry was nice and understanding, but never called back. apparently they have enough customers and don't need this one.\r Never Buy Bob - Ever! more

good experience 2/21/2011

First time in "Bob's" & originally my thoughts were, where's the help around here? Granted it was a Saturday afternoon & they were pretty busy. The curly haired chick at the front desk noticed I needed help & offered her assistance. She surprisingly knew more about bikes & gear than one would expect a receptionist to know. Sadly I didn't purchase a bike, but met up with the sales guy Dan who was also very helpful & I will certainly be back. Great inventory & impressive collection of antique bikes. more

best motorcycle store ever 11/12/2010

I bought my first brand new motocross bike here (Honda CRF450R) and the sales person i had the pleasure of working with was just as stoked for me as i was when i bought it, I always go back and get all my parts, I love how all the people that work here also ride. Super helpful staff in all departments. I have worked in sales myself for a long time and I loved how low pressure and fun it is to buy a bike here, I will send all my friends here as well. more

service 10/24/2010

I took my Honda shadow for service. It had only 3000 miles. it took them over two weeks to service the bike ($350 for DINO). The original estimate was 5 days. They also had to order 4 bolts (Almost 2 moths). I am still waiting. Absolutely the worst service. It seems they do not even care. never again. more

Worst Service Ever 6/20/2010

After waiting three weeks for a headlight repair with no word I decided to call and make sure everything was okay. I was informed that my scooters part was ordered and should arrive within a few weeks. After waiting an additional THREE MONTHS with no calls or updates I went to speak to the manager in person. I was never given a single apology or an explanation other than, “that’s what happens with Chinese parts.” Magically the part appeared the following week after my complaint, yet still took another week to repair. Unfortunately, after sitting around their warehouse for months my bike no longer runs the same. Now thanks to their negligence I’ll be forced to pour more money into the bike after spending over two hundred dollars on this repair. Not only will I never return to this service department, I’ll tell everyone I know to do the same. more

stop the presses 3/10/2009

really overall its a good place. a bit high on the prices but you get what you pay for. Most people who work in motorcycle ""outfits"" have a big ego and for the most part think they are gods chesen ones. It would be nice to walk in there and not deal with one of the parts counter guys acting like he doesn't see me because he is ""soooo"" busy looking at myspace through a proxy server.. I just bought a helmet and i bought it because the young woman, stayed with me, didn't let me ust walk out of there empty handed. i have been riding since i was 9. A good friend i call pops. or richard sowers got me into it when i was little. I think the male associates could take a lesson from the two females i ran into. Extremely helpful and made sure i found what fit my head properly for the best safety protection, and the look i wanted. beaverton Honda. stop posting reviews about your self. we all know! or at least someone like me knows. no one writes like that! NO ONE! more

Great Selection and Great History Display 1/2/2009

I bought a used Honda VFR here years ago and it was a terrific bike. Very pleasant buying experience compared to buying a car. \r \r I was just in again this summer killing some time and thinking about a little bike to noodle around with. I became captivated by the collection of historic bikes mounted on the walls around the entire show room, including both floors. It was an intense journey of nostalgia since I've probably ridden variants of at least twenty of the models, most of them (ahem) some time ago. The collection is of course focused on Honda, but includes other marques as well (BSA, for example). Heck, if they'd have put them all on the floor and called it a museum, I'd have probably considered paying admission. more

Sleazy cheap car saleman mentality 12/4/2008

Puchased a used bike. A 2003 Honda Goldwing with 42K miles on it. Have never had a Goldwing before. Salesperson was very nice assured me this bike was in good working condition. It was sold to a fair marketprice. I asked if the bike had any defects and he assured me it didn't. He told me how every bike including this one gets in the service shop for a inspection and a tune up before they are put out in the showroom. \r So, I purchased the bike and thought all was good. Upon purchase the bike was once again brought in to service for a final checkup. What a Hoax! The bike had a numerous of defects. The most serious defects was a VERY NOISY final drive. And The rear chock preload system didn't work. They estimated repairs to over $3000.00 haha what a joke.\r Furthermore, The radio didn't respond properly, couldn't preprogram radiochannels. The electrical headlight adjuster didn't work. A sticking windscreen that was hard to adjust. The salesperson lied greatly about this bikes condition. \r Upon final sale and contract signing I was offered to buy a warranty package on this bike. However, if I declined, I had to sign a paper saying I didn't want to buy a extended warranty on this bike. \r I had by that also sworn these cheez puffs free from any responsibilities IF it turns out the bike DO HAVE serious DEFECTS after all. That is a tricky miss leading way of doing business. I contacted the sales manager. He was a real sleazy one last thing he said was you better leave. You start to irritate me. I left. I really didn't want to go there. haha. Don't buy anything from this establishment. Moral and ethics is not present. These people have no pride. No dignity. Cons: Very bad custom service more

Big Selection 8/19/2008

Beaverton Honda has a great selection of lawn movers and generators. A product for every size of need. I purchased my honda generator from them and have been happy with the service department and sales staff when I need help. Thanks more

Disappointed in Service 11/12/2007

We purchased a set of used waverunners, one of which has never run correctly. Service department has looked at it more than 6 times in 2 yrs, always said they fixed it and tested it but it has never ran correctly. Last time it was in they said the engine needs to be replaced (after they had just repaired and tested it, AND THAT WE WERE OUT OF LUCK, COME PICK IT UP. This waverunner has less than 3 hrs on it since we purchased it and most of that was service time. I am sure ""Bob"" would be disappointed in his crew and we will certainly take our business elsewhere and suggest all other do as well. There are many other shops - use them more

Good service 11/1/2007

This place is very female rider friendly. I also appreciate that they communicate clearly with you regarding service on your bike. They have been looking at the need to have a class for women to teach them how to do routine stuff for their own bikes. I appreciate this place and have been going here rather than the dealer where i have a warrantee because I trust these people more. Pros: Caters a lot to female riders and great customer service. Cons: Sometimes a bit crowded and hard to find available staff. more
