Best atmosphere for a day spa and salon. Very Unique 10/21/2008

I originally went there for just a haircut, but found out they do day spa services as well. The haircut was great. I later went back for a pedicure and also a massage. The service was great and I plan on going back for at least a third visit. Pros: Lots of Great Services. Cons: A little pricey, but less than I've paid elsewhere for lesser quality services. more

The best massage I've ever had 9/3/2008

I had the deepest and most effective massage I have ever had. Aneaya was able to go really deep and yet it was not painful. I like deep work, but only find that guys can go deep enough. She is the first female massage therapist that really went deep enough. If you need any deep or sports type massage, I would recommend Aneaya. more

The Best! 7/31/2008

When I went to the Beauty and the Beast spa, I was getting a full face wax. Not only did the esthetician do a great job, she answered all of my questions and even told me what to do for my home skin care. I love how the staff are very friendly with you and very knoweledgeable as well. I'll definetely be going back. more

    From the outside, Beauty and the Beast looks as unassuming as any other building on State Street. But walk inside and find an exotic atmosphere marked by lush plants and colorful decor. A friendly staff member will welcome you and give you a tour of the spa's circular design, complete with a sunny, full-service salon and multiple treatment rooms. Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome.

    The Services
    If you're in the mood for something unusual, choose from a long list of curious-sounding treatments. Try the Body Contouring Treatment, in which slimming products are massaged into your body's problem areas--it's unique to Beauty and the Beast. The spa is also one of the only places in the state to offer detoxifying lymphatic drainage and light therapy. More familiar offerings include body peels, hydrotherapy treatments and clay toning masques, and many treatments can be paired with a Vichy shower, or high-powered water massage.
